OK, how many of you are actually secretly hoping Meyers has a decent year. He's an easy target right now, but he is working on his game this summer, more than in the past (was injured last summer, got married the summer before, etc.). He has guys like Nurk and Swanigan to push him, etc.
Me too..I want him to be playing like an allstar at the trade deadline! It is not a secret - of course I want him to have a good year. He is a Blazers player, he seems like a decent guy - of course I want him to be good - it would be stupid not to.
If he has a good year he helps the team, either with his production or making it easier to move his contract.
OMG I'm cryin' right now!![]()

Fail on my part, for sure. Butters never caught on with me, but that was definitely a missed opportunity to be an assI'm surprised @Mediocre Man isn't using that one. He referred to Myers as Fabio for at least an entire season. It's kind of a Beetlejuice/Voldemort thing. If you speak his name he will be summoned onto the court and bad things will happen. Better to not risk it...

And, he teases us with shit like this:
About once a year. That was just back in late January against the No. 1 seed in the East.
So what would be considered a decent season for Myers in 2017-18? PER > 12?

You are not alone in this particular line of thought. This is the reason I didn't join in on the Meyers Lemon brigade until this past season. I gave him 5 years to prove himself.Serious post in a non-serious thread (sorry, not sorry). When I watch that video, I ask myself, why can't he do that every night? Why just once a year? It really drives home that Meyers' problems are mostly between his ears. Hell, if he could be half that good on a regular basis, he'd be a valuable rotation player.
Shit, he's drawing me back in.... Must resist...

I would have gone with Meyers Lemon. At least that makes sense. I'm not on board with this particular smear campaign.
It's been a while but I believe that Fabio indeed could NOT believe it wasn't butter. I'm not on board with that double negative either.I have never in my life watched one second of South Park. So, I know nothing of this Butters of which they speak.
At least I know who Fabio is.
