HuffPost says it'll be Kasich/Rubio.

A Kasich/Rubio ticket would appeal to both mainstream Republicans (Kasich) and Tea Partiers (Rubio), to both white and Latino voters, to younger voters who want to see someone relatively young on the ticket, to those looking for a ticket whose members run the gamut from executive to legislative experience at both the state and federal levels, and to those who believe all members of a presidential ticket should hail from a major battleground state.

If all of the above occurs, as the conventional wisdom seems to now suggest it will, and the Democrats nominate Hillary Clinton, she’ll begin the general election campaign down by double-digits to a man she hasn’t polled well against for eight months or more — basically since the beginning of the 2016 race
Wouldn't Trump then run as a third party candidate and torpedo them in the process?

I guess like both parties and their remaining sheeple, all media outlets and political pundits, you still don't get it.
I get it.

129M voted in 2012. Trump might get 20M more voters to come out. He'd get 20M votes, the other two candidates would split what's left, or the remaining 129M.

Quit calling barfo a sheeple.

If it's Hillary against a party nominated Republican good boy. Then we ought to get a third choice of a Trump/Bernie team. Call it the Up Yours party.

You know what? I......would support this. I think.

Hopefully, Trump gets the nomination. I don't see how the GOP cannot nominate him. They don't have a candidate that has a chance in hell of winning against Hilary or Sanders. Cruz? LMAO, he'd get murdered in the Election.

I wouldn't mind seeing Trump/Rubio. But I have to admit....Trump/Bernie would be.....interesting.

I think that is magical thinking. Trump is going to be their nominee. Hillary is going to be president.

Never thought I'd see someone under Federal Criminal Investigation become President. But weirder things have happened, I suppose.

All of this sucks, and all of it is likely.

Of all three Republicans, Kasich has done more to attack women's rights and voting rights than any other. Cruz has an even more extreme position against women's rights but has not passed any bills and Trump just bloviates.

During a town hall event yesterday in Salem, New Hampshire, Ohio Gov. John Kasich took a question from an attendee about Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court ruling that created a constitutional right to abortion.

Kasich’s answer, which appeared to affirm the court ruling, will likely complicate his bid to woo pro-life voters who are already skeptical of his anti-abortion bona fides.

Kasich was asked whether he “respect the Roe vs. Wade decision” by a man who said he’s looking for a candidate who’s “not a threat to a woman’s right to control her own body.”

The two-term Republican governor, who told CNN on Sunday that Republicans “focus too much” on abortion, quickly responded before turning to other questions.

“Obviously it’s the law of the land now,” Kasich said, “and we live with the law of the land.”
