In Europe, the home of my people, Football teams are grouped in ranked divisions, and there is no tanking because (a) there is no draft, but (b) because the bottom teams get relegated to a crappier division for the next season. This makes for great excitement for the bad teams at the end of the season, which is awesome. However, it also means that your fave team can go from playing Chelsea and Man Utd. one season to playing Scunthorpe the next. When this happens, you have to have a backup team to root for so that you can actually watch some entertaining football, along with dutifully watching your actual team slog through a dreary season.
Well, the Blazers just got relegated. Who's your team-on-the-side that you can cheat on the Blazers for every game they're not actually playing each other?
Mine's the Wolves. They have an actual shot to make the playoffs, and will be fun to watch, especially if Rubio can stay healthy. I also like Utah, who actually had a better record than us in the second half of last season (you know, after they unloaded Kanter).
