I did look through it! I lived in Cancun with some relatives when I was a kid for part of a school year. Haven’t been back since but I still have vivid memories of seeing Chichen Itzá, Isla Mujeres, cenotes and the pristine beaches. It was before MTV hit the area and tourism exploded. I’m sure it’s much different now.

I did an archeology tour of Mayan ruins in 2001. Actually worked at Coba for a week. (AKA hauling buckets of dirt for archeologists, lol) Playa is just a town and Tulum was a village. Damn those places have explored. I don't think you'd recognize Cancun.

That was back in ‘93, so I would definitely not recognize it. I’m glad you’ve enjoyed it!
