Lets go baby.... i will once again put all my fucking passion in this team again, because i fucking believe in Oden i believe in all these guys, whether or not we get CP3 or Tony Parker

The west got much weaker, and the Lakers (kobe) are a year older. This team won 50 GAMES! last year with so many injuries... I sense big things for next year and i know you crazy fucking blazer fans do to!

If we keep Batum and dont get CP3, thats fine. Batum is a MONSTER... i hope to god Nate lets him loosse and changes the way we play. This guy will have a PER of 20 and be in the top 3 wing defenders in the league

With a healthy Oden i am predicting AT LEAST an WCF Game 7 against the lakers

I wish it started Tomorrow....

I hope we do better than 10-11.

I see us as the only threat to LA out west, and the other teams got weaker. Oden to the rescue!

Just found out we are opening the season at home against the................. HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am interested in Oden's progression. Not much else matters

Ah yes, that overlooked amazing team that nevertheless managed to lose 3 of 4 to the go-nowhere Blazers.

Probably because the Thunder suffered a lot of key injuries while Portland had the fortune of good health.

;)

I'm ready! Fuck ya! I can't wait! I even got a new electric wheelchair! Now I won't just be pushed to my seat and parked until I leave. I can get around the RG!! :)

I just became a Heat fan, so I'm VERY excited about the 2010-2011 season!!!!

Dude, please. I'm a third generation Heat fan. My family has been Heat fans since the 1920s, so please don't give me any of your bandwagoning garbage.

I bleed maroon, orange and red...and black and yellow and...er...magenta. How many colors does that team have?

I'm ready for the 10-11 season...of the NFL.

The NBA just got a whole lot more unappealing after last night.

No, I just think the Thunder gave the Lakers a real matchup problem and if not for a Pau Gasol tip in at the final buzzer in game 6 they would have pushed them to 7 games.

Should be a fun year. Ultimately, I don't care a ton about how the regular season goes. Give me some playoff success!

AGREE! And having Camby all season and a leaner and more determined Roy is going to help also.

GO TRAIL BLAZERS!

If LMA can improve his game a bit, and Batum continues his development, we will have 4 players approaching or exceeding a PER of 20. Not to mention a 5th (Miller) had a PER of over 18 last season.

With Oden, Camby, Batum (and hopefully at some point, Joel) our defense should be top tier.

We're loaded. We're long. We're athletic. Let's just stay healthy and we could be a scary team.

Yeah, I'm excited!

If we're healthy we can beat anybody. Anybody.

You're assuming the game would be called fairly. I expected playing the L*kers or the M'eat would be an exercise of 8 on 5.

I think the Thunder are a fine, young team. I just think you either overrate them, underrate the Blazers or both. The Blazers play the Lakers very well also. As far as the playoffs went, the Blazers pushed the Suns to 6 games without (IMO) their two best players. Roy returned, but had a PER under 5, so hardly counts as "there." Those Suns went on to destroy the essentially healthy Spurs.

His PER was really under 5? thats incredible

I agree.

However, no team is really fully healthy going into the playoffs.

So, the comparative level of health and to which players is what matters.

Phoenix won that comparison easily, and took us. Healthier, I think we get to the WCF.
