Whenever I see a women analysing mens sports on ESPN I cringe, it always seems like they know half of what they should know. Jackie MacMullen is alright on ATH, but thats about it.

No beef with the ladies. Most of the men don't know jack, neither.

Watch the WNBA buddy, most of ESPN's announcers are just women they think are hot but really don't know anyhing. Watch the WNBA, though, the women on those shows know a lot. Also women's college basketball. And Cheryl Miller is pretty good too

I would say there are just as high a proportion of bad male announcers as female ones. At least if the woman is hot and crap its betterto watch than a man who is crap.

Cheryl Miller

I completely 100 percent agree with BCB. I can go on all day naming women broadcasters that know nothing. Amy Lawrence on ESPN Radio is the WORST of all-time. The only one I like on ESPN is Rachel Nichols.

Rachel Nichols is pretty good and isn't bad to look at either.

susyan waldman on WCBS 880 AM broadcasts the Yankee games and is horrible...

There is a good woman analyst? I must assume some of you think so, since you say that the proportions are similar. I can't recall ever hearing a woman saying something enlightening about sports unless it was clear she was told what to say. I'm not even joking.

Why does it even matter? All these "sports analysts" do is read off cards or a teleprompter...

What I hated the most was when Swin Cash was always on NBA Fastbreak. She knows alot about basketball, of course, but she didnt know jack when it came to the NBA.Bonnie Berstein occasionally hosts NFL Live and I dont mind her, but that is only because she is fine.

As far as reporters go, Erin Andrews is by far the best cause she is ridiculously fine.

I read somewhere that married athletes have asked her out on dates.

This has nothing to do really with women...but since we're tlaking about analysts....Does anybody watch Mike and Mike in the Morning before they go to sleep? I do that now...

why wouldn't women be lousy sports analysts? Sports are not in womens' culture and in most sports there has yet to be a woman at a men's proffessional level.

I think that along with economics, sports analysis may be the thing that women are the absolute worst at.

Who is a female analyst analyzing men's sports? Most do women's athletics..
