The Nets and Knicks are only two games apart. Let's also factor in the Knicks just traded their two leading scorers and best rebounder for Tim Thomas (Mobley just retired), and Al Harrington. The Nets aren't that much better than the Knicks and if losing to them is any indication, they might not be as good.

If you want the excuses, I can give you more. We sent away our leading scorer this summer, and a hall-of-fame Point guard, not to mention we have so many rookies and new players just joining the Nets.

By the way, D'Antoni is better than Frank, but... the Nets just have the better record, face it, and we are just playing better than you. Your team can't go anywhere, your coach likes to play offense.

Please. Several Nets fans have gone on record saying the Nets are way better than the Knicks, which isn't true. And Comparing the Lakers/Celtics finals to the Knicks and Nets is silly considering that you are comparing the playoffs to the regular season. The Nets are slightly better than the Knicks record-wise. So, if the Knicks amass a better record than the Nets, I guess it will be fair to say that they are better?

Furthermore, the season is less than 30 games old and the Knicks are adjusting to a huge trade. The offense was centered around their two leading scorers, Zach Randolph and Jamal Crawford; they lost a total of 40 points and 14 rebounds in the trade. If a team trades their two leading scorers, chemistry will be disrupted and struggles will surely follow. Despite this, the Knicks have adjusted well and finished beating a “better Nets team” by double digits.

Your excuses of having young players and the RJ trade don’t hold. The Nets knew what to expect coming into the season and the entire roster had a training camp together. From scrubs like Sean Williams to premier players like Vince, every player was sure of their roles coming into the season.

I guess D’Antoni should learn defense from Frank. His team is definitely going somewhere with their D.

They almost blow out Raptors at their house, also created a big leads by 15 points or so,

they just came out flat down the stretch in the final 3 minutes, so that's why they won so close.

of course, A win is a win, just enjoy your loss to Lakers.
