It’s the exact same thing, sorry to break it to you. Only difference is, nobody said anything about it. It’s like when people also forget the Alaskan pipeline situation was also happening under obama and transferred over to trumps prrssidency. I’m not saying trump should get passes. He shouldn’t. Just call it both ways and stop ignoring one simply because that’s your party.

It's not the exact same thing, the family separation part is new.

And what Alaskan pipeline situation???

Seems to be kinda of a theme with the @Cippy91 today.

There’s this thing called poop. It comes out of your butt. Sometimes it’s nice and firm, sometimes it’s watery and gross. Remember to always shower after a nice little poop.

No even after you wipe it’s a must you shower after a shit for maximum cleanliness. That’s the point.

Keystone pipeline my bad. That whole situation when it was a big deal at the time

The difference between the Trump and Obama administrations on that one is pretty huge - Obama didn't approve it, and Trump did approve it.

Not exactly the same.

My point is it was going on during both administrations. Neither one did anything about it. Talk about approval all you want but did Obama stop it? no he didn't. Neither are saints. End of story mr barfo

Maybe you'd like to read these links and revise your statement. Then again, maybe you wouldn't, since they contradict what you believe.

Friend just posted this on Facebook so I’m gonna copy paste this shit because it’s true...

Disclaimer: I’m not particularly fond of the POTUS, but Americans are great ethical and moral relativists. Why?
People are seemingly morally outraged by the immorality of President Trump. His comments about women, and his general way of being is judged and criticized ad infinitum. But the same actions done in a manner deemed as art are celebrated in pop culture, music and cinema. However, the same people are not outraged by the sexually immorality, infidelity, pornography, and promiscuity and thus 60 million abortions thus far in the Sexual Revolution in American society. (Not to mention the breakdown of the family as the sane locus of all flourishing and health in society) Culture and entertainment are complicit in the same actions. Americans have a higher moral standard for their leader then they do for themselves!
Meaning: they are moral relativists only for their own lives and not for those of another.
Look, I'm not too crazy about abortion, either, I just think people have a right to decide for themselves how to treat their own body as long as they don't interfere with how I treat mine. Also, are you suggesting like Trump that we need to punish women who get abortions and go back to the days when they aborted by using a coat hanger or by a back alley doctor? Why can't we have the same compassion for these women who mistakenly feel the need for an abortion and spend the same effort trying to help them? Where is that morality?
Are you really advocating for outlawing all things you deem immoral?
As for pornography, I think you have to consider free speech when talking about pornography. I believe the Supreme Court has ruled on this.
The standard we have for Presidents is higher than the standard for you or I for a reason. Trump is way way way outside those standards. I hope you don't need examples.

Good news. With the Supreme Court shift, Roe v Wade could go away. They'll be able to make laws that help curb abortions.

But wait. Hold up. I thought making laws wont help gun violence? So some laws will help stop abortions but wont help gun violence. Funny how that works.

None of this works logically.

What does work logically is this. Liberals want illegal immigrants to come here whether we can afford it or not. So, using that logic we should stop abortion.

I'm not anti abortion by any means. I'd prefer it to be rare but legal.

Just to reiterate, I'm not saying these are my positions.

Your premise is faulty. Your conclusion doesn't follow from your premise. You state your position on abortions (rare but legal) and then say it isn't your position.

All in all, not your best post. Improvement needed.

I’m saying that some people think laws are a ridiculous way to address gun issues but a great way to address abortion. More laws won’t work. But sometimes more laws will work. It’s talking out of both sides of their mouths. Again.

I stated two conflicting positions. No abortion and rare but legal. Saying that those are my positions would be erroneous.

The problem is not the laws, but the people that violate the laws. The irresponsible people.

Example.
We have very strict laws against driving while drunk. With very expensive penalties.

Yet every day in the USA, 29 people die in car crashes involving drunk drivers, 10,000 per year.
Over 1 million people are arrested every year for DUI.
$44 billion in damages every year caused by drunk drivers.

Yes, but think of what the numbers would be if not for MADD.

Overall, I agree with you that the stricter laws have helped to lower the numbers, some.

But, there is more to the story.

States with low population densities have shown the greatest impact of strict vs lenient DUI laws. However, in high population states, the stricter DUI laws made little to no difference.

As our countries population increases, the impact of strict laws appear to decrease.

I agree with much of it.
Its kind of a dilemma though cause on one hand as a society we need freedoms without huge Gov controlling people, on the other hand we need to be a just nation and not let society and culture run wild with things that hurt families, kids & communities.
Yep, don't separate kids from capable adults, but do something if they are not capable.
Don't let entertainment and culture harm the same children with poisoning of all kinds.
To me it get's back to following the laws and contributing a balance to family and community. Being respectful to one another and willing to address needed change in a civil manner.

Of course you'd think I'm missing it.
