If it is kept, you may want to reread it in a different lens, perhaps youre projecting or taking it personal when in fact it isnt.

That is the simplest way to look at it. If youre having trouble with that, i suggest rereading and gaining perspective on it. Ive spent time on mt vacation editong and deleting posts using this simplistic formula.

Thats a good question. Those take me (im only going to speak for me on this particular question) a little while longer. I tend to read other posts between the two, harken back to previous correspondance between the two, and usually come to a decision. I have edited quitr a few that have been implied, because usually they are the beginnings of page long back-and-forths.

Yes. I deleted that. I considered it a personal attack. It wasn't part of a conversation; it was only a negative commentary on another poster's personal characteristics. There was nothing else in the post with preserving, so I just deleted it before it added more to the argument.

If I was out of line, I'll trust Sly to rein me in.

It was fine. It was a personal insult, he even admitted it, not a big deal.

He wouldn't have even known it was deleted if I hadn't mentioned it. Which is exactly what happens to the vast majority of personal insults that are edited or deleted. Staff just quietly removes them.

No bias. Post about a person--edit or delete. Post about a post--left alone.

If there are posts that you believe should be moderated, flag them. If you're not pointing things out to us that we're missing or ignoring, then there's not a whole lot of room to complain.

Its threads like this... and the Rosanne one, that makes me conflicted. I'm either pissed I don't have more time to read all this controversy( I missed a thread about Rosanne I think). Or Im better off being busy and not seeing these threads. lol.

I said one post got deleted and you immediately knew which one. To me that means you knew it was insulting.
 
holy hell. I just read the last few pages of Rosanne.

Not saying I haven't ever been a part of it, but, does anyone else see the pattern of how when two people get into it and then it seems to fade out, somehow, someway, the tension spreads to two others that will pick up the slack, much like a tag team wrestling match?

Ill be the first to admit my guilt in the past over this, not intentional, but full aware. Ive put myself on a conflict diet around here, so watching from the outside now, is scarily fun.


Comically annoying for sure.

I am pretty much a viewer these days. Besides, I feel no need for unwanted, ridiculous drama.

However, I will laugh at others perpetuating that ridiculousness.

What's so insulting about calling Joe Rogan Cippy's Jesus? I mean, it's insulting to Jesus, but he's not a forum member to the best of my knowledge.
