Why isn't anyone having a meltdown?

Here's my meltdown. Im pissed at Aldridge for wanting a trade and disappointed that management will do anything to try and appease him and probably keep him until near the trade deadline when we pick up meaningless wins. We better trade him before the regular season so we can compete with Philly, Charlotte, Cleveland, Phoenix, and now Boston.

LMA never said he wanted to be traded. That was a small group of posters jumping on any rumor to justify their wacky trade ideas.

Do you honestly think all the rumors are nothing? I'm sure he is becoming disgruntled because we haven't been winning. Chris Paul in his early stages with the Hornets never came out about it right away and was said to prefer to stay with the Hornets if they can get players to help him. How did that work out? It is a matter of time, we won't make the playoffs with or without Aldridge next year so why not trade him when he inevitably comes out demanding the trade?

Okay forum....

Time to get your rant that will be posted on the signature of fellow posters

Who has a bold prediction?

I'll start...

Lillard will make the all star team. I'm not talking rookie sophomore either.

Can't say that yet. The summer isn't over. We could find a few good men to really make a difference. Seems like Aldridge just wants out of the first round. We could do that if we make the right trades

What are the trades that we will/can make? I know people don't want Aldridge to be gone, I don't either, but he is as good as gone. You hardly see a player who is rumored to want to be traded or threatens to leave the team after his contract expires backtrack and decide "no I decided I want to stay." I honestly believe it is time to move on from Aldridge and trade him asap to tank for next year.

Personal attack!! :MARIS61:

Funny thing is that with none of the mods here, tonight was actually civil.

Just checking. Calling someone a child is personal but negative Nancy isn't?

Not knocking it, I just need to know for my own posting.

Yes, I do, considering LMA said in public that he wants to see improvement next year, and thinks the team can be competitive the following year.

I don't pee my pants every time a rumor is floated, though, so that's just me.

I can't help it. I think SlyPokerDog is a giant douche. He changes people's posts without asking them first.

You are right Kobe did. There was a variety of reasons for it, one being they were still a competitive team and were winning. We aren't. They could pretty much trade for other stars to help him out (Gasol at the time, Dwight even though that failed, and Chris Paul even though that got vetoed), we don't have that luxury. Also I remember someone talked Kobe into staying like Magic Johnson or someone that was a former Laker. Just doesn't seem to likely, hate to say it.

Like I said... Just clarifying. The rules seem to bend with every post, no?

Is that a personal attack on the mods' approach??

Well the summer isn't over yet and hopefully olshey has a plan to entice Aldridge to stay. All we need to do is make it past the first round.

Not at all. He'll be fine. Just not what we need
In fairness, we don't need what we need for a couple of years yet. Between the 2014 draft and free agency, we should be able to get what we need next summer, if Olshey does his job right.

The talking heads on ESPN were talking about it. I guess they heard it on S2. We're a source!

I hope, but I don't see it. Forget making it past the first round we need to make playoffs first. Out of the 8 teams who do we overtake? You can count OKC, San Antonio, Memphis, probably the Clippers with Paul, Griffin, and now Doc Rivers as coach. Houston probably gets in with or without Dwight, Dallas may get in especially if they get Dwight. What about e Golden State and Denver? They may make it, they may not. I'd say Denver makes it again even without Karl as there coach. Then what about up and coming teams? Do the Pelicans with Jrue and Davis make noise? What about the Jazz who were close? Does Kobe come back with a vengeance and take the Lakers into the playoffs again?

I just have a tough time seeing us make it with all these other teams that are better than us as of now.

ricardo fucking ledo

what the fuck we could have had this fucking guy but instead we get whitey fucking cornball and a soft bitch assed stretch 4 that averaged 2 ppg?????? oh well, let the tank begin, shit fuck cock dick ram pierced asshole

Lakers are gonna suck. I think Denver will suck under shaw. Utah will lose both millsap and Jefferson. We are in the thick of it.

Also, Memphis just fired their coach. I bet they suck too.

No personal attacks.

Who knows. Anyway Im done going on about this, we will cross this bridge when it comes up if it does regarding Aldridge. Tonight is about our draft and how we did well in my view. Can't wait to see what McCollum brings to our team as well as Crabbe assuming he makes it.

Me too brother.

I will say that is Aldridge did mention he wanted to be traded; I will be deeply saddened. But I have faith we still have him and he may even resign.

Well at least I don't use watermelons like your loose ass does!

So you've seen my ass (BTW, you must have me confused - you have a whacked sex life).

You're so gay.

I'm not sure if that's gay in the gay way or the other gay way (see OT forum).
