Why It’s Time Black People Simply Disengage With White People In Discussing Race

There's no statute of limitations on being an asshole. .....saying inflammatory shit for ratings doesn't change that and just yesterday was accused of sexual harassment again....maybe you haven't kept up with him for years, but he's a jerk. You don't need to watch TV to know that...I don't watch TV but he's in the newspapers and on the internet....Donald Trump says inflammatory shit and it got him ratings too....that's some people prone to manipulation..what you should realize is these guys have years of practice at being assholes

It's like Canzano... these people make their money off making inflammatory comments that piss people like Crandc off. I choose to ignore them.

Whites and blacks imbibe in marijuana at about the same percentage, however blacks are four times more likely to be arrested for it.
I expect the percentage is much higher than four times in my case. I never use the stuff.

Donald Trump says inflammatory shit

River my friend, you need to re-tune your listening machinery. Mr Trump is not on a TV show now, he is saying the things that need to be said. These need to be heard.

I'm sorry dude, but I don't see why street bums would wander into a beauty supply and steal shit...they don't even bathe...medical marijuana clinics here are too expensive for bums to hang around...the folks I meet running them are very sharp businessmen...many war vets...I think you're sensationalizing the medical marijuana business....my 2 cents. There are more bums at the local laundromat than the medical shops
Not bums, 20 something dirthead kids that are "super sick" and NEEEEEEED it or they'll suffer.

I don't see anywhere I said homeless people. You're projecting and in denial.

If I didn't have to work I'd go record video of them for half a day.

It would make people of Walmart videos look like a movie premiere. Ok, that's a lie but it would still be bad.

I never said bums were homeless people, you're projecting some false imagery....people who steal to me are bums...people who hang out and bother shop keepers are bums but it's not the medical marijuana clinic's fault....that's your projection....you hate marijuana...you've said it many times. Maybe the DEA is something to consider....setting up cameras and shit...don't confuse young kids being lazy and lacking ambition to "suffering for a pot fix"

Be nice if it was years since he said that shit. He says it pretty much nightly. I don't watch him but as riverman said, read the news, see it. My point was that this white guy who claims moral authority over others (Black people generally, young women) is a million miles from any moral authority. The woman he constantly attacks is a vastly better role model.

Denial.

I agree. Shut up about racism already. I'm sick of the topic. There are differences in the races, and each race has their own culture (for better or worse), but whatever, why continue to harp on it non stop? It's like many people have a mental disorder where they obsess about it.

And the more you obsess on it, the more you see it where it doesn't exist. The BLM movement is an example of that. We've been over the numbers before.

Easy to get sick of a topic when it doesn't affect you. I'm sure that if you were negatively impacted daily by a form of injustice you couldn't avoid, you'd probably talk about it constantly too.

I remember a while back there was a huge deal about Bill O'Reilly stating that "Muslims killed us on 9/11." I actually had someone unfriend me on Facebook because I said that statement is not wrong. Do I like O'Reilly? Not really. I think he's a political Canzano. But I don't see how anyone can make the statement that the people who orchestrated and carried out the attack on 9/11 were not Muslims. They were extremists, sure, but they were still part of the Muslim faith. But he created this HUGE viral outrage by liberals because he made that statement. It was probably all staged anyway.

Depends on your perspective, I guess. I mean, the nutcases at Westboro Baptist call themselves Baptist, but I certainly don't see the fruit of the Spirit manifest through them. I wouldn't argue with someone who said that despite their self-identification, they are not Christians.

Of course, I'm neither a practitioner of nor an expert on Islam, so I can't accurately say whether the situation is analogous, but I can understand how someone could say that murderous extremists are not actually Muslims.

I realize that people don't want to be under the same umbrella as a hate group, but if that group follows Christ and the Christian belief system, they are (by definition) Christians. There are different sub-faiths of Christianity, but they're all still Christians.

Just like there are Americans, and Republicans, and Democrats, and yes, even Trail Blazer fans who are a disgrace to their collective group. Just because they are a horrible sub-set, they are still part of the bigger whole. So whether they want to agree or not, the attacks on 9/11 were followers of Islam, just as the people of Westboro are followers of Christ.

Leave HCP out of this.

First of all, I think your explanation of what makes one a Christian is woefully incomplete. However, even if you were right, if the Westboro people don't actually follow Christ--as I would assert, based on their hate-based rhetoric--then by your own words, they are not Christian.

It appears that you are claiming to be more qualified to determine whether or not someone is actually an adherent to or member of a faith than other members of that particular faith are. That seems pretty arrogant to me.

Local story that got no media play. Police show up at dudes house to serve warrant. Dude high out of his mind on crack bursts through the front door with an ak-47 and opens fire. Police hit him once in the arm and subdue him without any deaths. How the fuck is that guy still alive? Guess his race?
spoiler, we know he wasnt white or that front door would have been a school and he would have killed himself

:biglaugh:

It affects me because I keep hearing about it. Black people are not "impacted daily" by injustice. Some black people want you to believe that so you'll feel sorry for them and give them special treatment, and other black people are brainwashed into believing that, and use it as a scapegoat for why they are losers.

While i agree, isnt a solution to not do drugs?

Abstinence and prohibition have never worked. There are two things that humans will always want to do:

Fuck and get high.

Instead of preaching abstinence and having prohibition, the best thing to do is to give knowledge. There was a very big reason why I had my son when I was 30. I was still having sex but I made sure it was protected sex. I had the knowledge and didn't end up like teen pregnancy Texas.

Wait, are you offering to have protected sex with @rasheedfan2005 in Texas?!?

I dunno man i dont feel the need to break the law i guess. Take something im passionate about since drugs dont do shit for me like say, conceal carry. I feel like i have the right to conceal carry thanks to second ammendment, but i still dont cause it's illegal without a license. To abide by the law i simply dont do it, even when i feel like i should be able to.

I'm talking about what we should do as a country.

I believe all drugs should be decriminalized.

......Bro, I'm really tryna stay outta this thread....

I'm just poking fun at the state that leads the nation in teen pregnancies.
You have to admit im intriguing though. Im not saying we should experiment but i think it might help us both culturally.
