OT Why Never Trumpers Should Bet on DeSantis Now (1 Viewer)

Not a figure of speech. DeSantis is just trying to create drama where it doesn't exist in order to raise his profile.

Gee, what a cool thing to do, especially in the middle of a Gubernatorial election race.

Well, then, you missed many posts of mine. Start in the Jan. 6 thread.

It literally takes less typing to say "yes Biden won and is president. And there's no fraud".

I made several posts in here claiming I quit supporting Trump soon after the election because he refused to yield to Biden. So, I'm saying that again right now. Like him or not, Biden be Prez.

But does DeSantis recognize the election? He is too cowardly to say Nazis are bad. Could he dare upset Republicans, a large majority of whom say Trump won?

Don't worry any day now, or soon, or maybe een tomorrow, or could be in a few weeks, he is going to maybe thing about contemplating saying he doesn't fully support nazis.

Any time now Florida and Texas and Arizona will start flying that confederate flag and singing Dixie as the national anthem...as far as I'm concerned, don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out....they're all on my economic sanction and boycott list as it is. I hope every MAGAtard around the country moves to those 3 states tomorrow ..let their cities all have the populations of Calcutta.

My friend group and myself have already begun planning a possible escape plan.

It's Washington Post and not Fox or Tik Tok so probably fake news.
It is now painfully obvious that the Magats are of a certain type. Unfortunately that type is gullible, needy, hates the Left, and not smart. These things are not debatable in my eyes. Smart people don’t fall for this. They don’t go along with other stupid people. The left has PLENTY of issues no doubt. Those issues pale in comparison to the right misleading and lying, cowardice and creating hatred. I’ve yet to meet a truly smart person who believes in Trump.

All true. But the unifying factor is racism and racial resentment.

Ron DeSantis Sets The Record Straight About His Drama With The View

It was the resounding "no thank you" heard 'round the world when Ron DeSantis' team turned down an invitation from "The View" to appear on its program. Taking to Twitter, the Florida governor's press secretary Bryan Griffin cited the instances that the show's hosts made less-than-flattering comments about DeSantis, such as the time Sunny Hostin called him a "fascist" and a "bigot."

The harsh response to "The View" went viral, with Griffin declaring in no uncertain terms that the ladies would not give the likely 2024 presidential candidate a fair shake, and Twitter noting that DeSantis' appearance would surely boost ratings for ABC while doing no favors for the Republican guest.

Now, new details are coming to light about DeSantis' diss of "The View." It turns out that the Republican was less involved in the process of considering the invitation to face the likes of Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg than previously thought.

Twitter got right to business speculating about the real reason Ron DeSantis said "no" to an invitation to be a guest on "The View," with many people commenting in the vein of an individual who said he must be afraid to face strong women, like Sunny Hostin. Another detractor tweeted that the Republican must be a "coward."

Of course, DeSantis had many supporters who seconded the notion that the mostly-liberal hosts would just demean him were he to have said "yes." "Do you honestly think they would allow him to speak?" reasoned someone else.

But as social media spiraled into theories about the real reason DeSantis didn't accept the program's invitation, the lawmaker was none the wiser about the entire situation. As he told Fox News Thursday, "I didn't know that that had been declined until I saw it in the news, because I think my staff knows better than to even bring that to me."

Ultimately, the controversial governor cleared the air by declaring, "I don't need to be involved with some of the partisan corporate media." He added that he'd be busy working on the important issues affecting the people of the Sunshine State.

what a crock of shit......Ron DeSantis didn't go on a talk show is hardly "setting the record straight about his drama".....it's more.....I don't want to answer questions asked by women who don't like my policies. Call it what it is. Fuck Ron DeSantis and his pandering to the deplorables of Florida. He's no representative of democracy or american values at all. I don't think he wants to talk with any of the major late night hosts either....definitely not John Stewart. These guys need to be surrounded by the yes men sheeple they line their pockets from.
Any time he passes on national tv exposure, it's probably a good move because he has nothing to add to the conversations anyway.
