Look, from the posts I've read, I don't really see anyone in here personally doing anything much different than me as it pertains to solving systemic racism issues. I asked in the SOTU thread if Biden had addressed it. Nary a response. I've shared personal testimonies regarding things I'm doing in my sphere, groups I'm supporting, how I conduct my life. I pretty much look at that other stuff as platitudes and political agendas.....from BOTH sides! People in here share that I should take note that I'm a privileged white male. OK, what does one do with that? As I stated, I'm very cognizant of the fact that I am to love my fellow man. I think I do a good job of doing that. Could I be better? Absolutely! Does the fact that I had voted for Trump somehow make me a racist? Uhhh, no. As I mentioned somewhere else, I voted against Hillary and Biden. And, really, who cares? Those things have nothing to do with how I conduct my life and how I treat others....as HUMAN BEINGS. That's what matters most to me.

Supporting racist or bigoted policies and leaders is just as bad as being a racist or bigot. Regardless of if you label yourself or not.

It's that simple.

There are plenty of politicians who are not racist or bigoted. And luckily with a common language comes common meanings for common words. We have technology which allows us to easily find these definitions.

Just know, though, that just because someone doesn't support CRT, BLM, or the like, doesn't automatically make them a racist, bigot, or the like.

The definitions in the post you quoted doesn't reference either of those.

One can choose to ignore how or if those definitions relate to themselves, but it is the actions a person chooses to take which determine if they are applicable.

I'm not uncomfortable at all. I know I'm NOT a racist and simply because I don't buy into CRT nor BLM doesn't make me one. Period.

This is what has ABM so upset, this is a BLM website. I have politely asked ABM to read it and then we can have a discussion about it. He refuses. Follows it up with gibberish about BLM and he supports the Heritage Foundation. This is what I mean about listen. Do I agree with everything on this list? No. But some of it makes really good sense and benefits all citizens.

Actually, how you vote is part of how you treat others. That might not matter to you, but it matters to other HUMAN BEINGS.

Also, I think you are being a bit revisionist in saying you voted against Clinton and Biden. That may be true, but I seem to remember you being pretty enthusiastic about Trump also.

I think of Inherit the Wind, based on Scopes Monkey Trial. Prosecuting attorney knew nothing of evolution, never read Darwin, refused to do so, but knew evolution was bad. Like those who won't read 1619 Project and want it banned from school because they know it's bad. Not factually incorrect, any more than Darwin. Just makes them uncomfortable.
 
I've heard of many people who have pushed Darwinism, and other forms of atheism, to no end. Then became believers. Something about a pendulum.
 
There is no such thing as Darwinism.
And Darwin was not an atheist.
And there are religious believers who accept science.
And non believers who reject science.
I notice ABM as usual dies not name the "many people" who once accepted the evidence for modern biology but then later rejected it in favor of Bronze Age prescientific mythology.

I know of a few people who believed in anecdotal evidence, then they went to school and learned how statistics worked.
