Protesting a pretend woke war on Disney, claiming Disney is sexualizing children, by standing out front of Disney with Mickey Mouse ears that say butt fucker where many children will see them...hmm

Nazi picketed Disney carrying swastikas, signs with n word and homophobic slurs, and portraits of DeSantis.

But the wannabe Trump won't criticize those very fine people. He needs their votes.

If the media would quit giving hate groups so much airtime, and if people would stop going to these rallies only to counter/confront and protest these hate groups, they'd probably/eventually go away.
In both cases, the media and the people confronting these sickos, are inadvertently giving them exactly what they want...exposure/notoriety/free advertising/relevance.

Confronting them does two things (well, it does many things, but I'm concentrating on 2).

1. gives them attention they're so desperate for and

2. gives power to their targets

It's just so sad to me that so many are unhappy with the way they were created to be. If people want that change, though, they're free to do whatever they feel is necessary. My whole deal in here, though, is all about protecting our children.

BTW, I'll be sure to say Hi for you when I get together with MARIS tomorrow.

We got together for lunch today, along with our wives. Good times! That said, I was taken aback a bit as, all this time, I had thought he was a conservative's conservative. Au contraire, He voted for Obama....twice, and carries quite a number of liberal qualities. He was surprised that he got banned. He figured I'd be banned LONG before he was. LOL

Anyway, he did say he's love to email you some time. PM me your email if you're interested at all.

Cheers

Your arguments against DeSanis are weak. Seriously, there's no wonder folks are leaving states such as California in droves and moving to destinations such as Florida (and Tennessee). Reality speaks truth, despite your cooperative drivel.

You go with Biden (or whomever). I'll stick with DeSantis. We can share a beer.

Ron DeSantis says he would eliminate four federal agencies if elected president

https://apple.news/Ajg1AwBv9Rie0GOtBwPlGGQ

"We need to fundamentally re-constitutionalize the government," DeSantis said Wednesday. "We talked about draining the swamp in 2016; that didn’t happen. I think the better analogy is breaking the swamp."

It wasn't the first time DeSantis has floated the idea of doing away with the IRS, a frequent target of Republicans. On “The Dana Show" last month, DeSantis called the IRS a "corrupt organization" when radio host Dana Loesch asked him whether he would sign a measure to abolish the agency.

“The answer is yes," DeSantis said at the time. "We need something totally different."

Asked how he would replace the existing tax structure, DeSantis said he has “supported all of the single-rate proposals," referring to a flat tax.

"I would be welcoming to take this tax system, chuck it out the window and do something that’s more favorable to the average folks,” he said.

The IRS, which is overseen by the Treasury Department, has cut close to 20% of its staff since 2010. The debt ceiling deal eliminated $1.4 billion in IRS funding and redirected roughly $20 billion of the $80 billion provided to the agency through the Inflation Reduction Act to nondefense funds.

In the current fiscal year, the budgets for the Commerce, Energy and Education departments were $109 billion, $160 billion and $194 billion, respectively, according to government spending data.

Trump loves to boast he he the greatest for everyone. DeSantis has put together an attack ad against Trump by compiling a montage of Trump saying no one has done more for gay people, welcoming Chelsea Manning, etc to point out that he himself would never say or do anything for LGBTQ community except hate us.

Yeah. Smart move. The changes in alimony law primarily hurt older middle class white women. The ones who backed him because it was an imposition for their children to wear masks, and because they didn't want children learning anything that makes white people uncomfortable.

No doubt they will now turn to strong family man, lifelong devout Christian who treats his wife with respect and unconditionally loves his children. Trump!

That's what natural disasters will do to ya. If (God forbid) the Pacific Ring of Fire decides to cut loose, the west coast might very well end up in similar circumstances....insurance-wise.
