Why soon-to-be free agent Aldridge is unlikely to join Knicks

Pretty much a pointless article, lol.

I wonder if they write an article like that on every team that comes to play the Knicks?

Why ________ won't join us.

Why ________ won't join us.

Rinse, repeat.

I think there will be a day when players will want to play in New York. That day is when Melo is gone.

I am currently writing an article entitled "Why Jennifer Lawrence is unlikely to sleep with me."

New york must have won a ton in some alternate universe.

Sometimes I wonder if BGD is just Denny trolling this forum.... Some of the things that come from BGD are so hard to believe a serious poster can write.

Right? lmao. It's Denny's way to be able to use the trade machine haphazardly.

What do we know about BGD? He works at IGN, obviously. Anything else?

tl;dr

Or, in this case, td;dr (too dumb;didn't read).

I can save everyone who hasn't read the article some time.

Why soon-to-be free agent Aldridge is unlikely to join Knicks - [article] They SUCK!!! [/article]

BNM

Nevertheless, with the new TV contract worth billions, Aldridge could sign for two years and wait for the explosion of the salary cap and max contracts that are expected to take place starting in 2016

Smart money is on this imo.

If I'm the front office I'm talking to the agents to sell their clients on this idea. You lock this entire group down for two years and your odds of winning a title go through the roof. You win a title and the odds of retaining players at decreased vaue increases.

Kobe is a bad basketball player who road the coat tails of Shaq, Pau, and Phil. If Kobe played with the talent that Melo has played with, he'd have no rings. He's not a difference maker.

One more: http://nypost.com/2014/12/08/lamarcus-aldridge-doesnt-slam-door-completely-on-knicks/

“It’s always nice to have that camaraderie and years with certain guys, always,’’ said Aldridge, averaging 22 points and 9.7 rebounds as play began Sunday night. “That’s going to play a big factor this summer, of course.’’

However, the Blazers, because of their small-market location, don’t get the spotlight some other franchises do — one thing in the Knicks’ favor.

Dafuq? I don't think LA wants the spotlight that comes with a 4-18 team.

I hate these fuckers now. Will be rooting for this Phil/Fisher/Melo trio to fail.

At its BEST New York would be hellish to play in. Unless its your hometown and even then I cant imagine why it would be enjoyable for anyone.
