"Rudy Fernandez is a plus/minus machine":
I always thought the team played better with Rudy on the floor, even when he couldn't buy a bucket. He hassled Barea into irrelevance in the playoffs and could be counted on for a key steal or rebound (he handily outrebounded Batum in the Euro championships last year). Most importantly he was unselfish and always looked to get the big men to score.
Sigh.
According to Cuban’s calculations, Rudy Fernandez ranks among the NBA’s top 20 players in advanced plus-minus. That made him a long-time Mavs target.
