LMAO! So true. You have no idea how much people are into football, especially in Europe and South America, until you've been there. I remember in the film Am?lie they poked fun at footy fans and their obsession in an opening scene. Guy goes nuts cause the tv keeps cutting out. Thank God I'm not like that and I would seriously hope Chutney isn't either.

Also yes a lot of women hate footy because not really so much for their husband/boyfriend having to watch a match no matter what the circumstances, it also attributes to having to buy all sorts of clothing from the club. Basically like - "I need my AC Milan scarf, jersey, hat, gloves, shoes, and umbrella before I go to the match!" Damn. Even I think that's annoying, just buy a jersey and go to the game.

So many people in the US missed that film, shame though. Almost everywhere else in the world it is considered one of the most unique and best films of all-time. Anyway, you remember that part with Am?lie messing with the plugs in the building to disrupt the guy's cable feed? lol

Yea, we had a nice little foreign movies section at my dad's video rental shop I use to work at. One customer, who always rented movies from that section, kept raving to me about this movie so I tried it even though it wasn't in English (it's French, but it had a lot of music scenes so the subtitles were easy to follow) and it had a unique style of acting I've never seen before, good/heartwarming story, and gave me a lot of tear-eyed laughs.

The movie sub-titles leave out quite a bit of the spoken words, majority from the narrator. He goes so fast I can't keep up myself so I end up using the sub-titles. I know French, but not that well. lol
