These election campaigns are brutal...should have 6 weeks of campaign and vote..it just gets uglier as the months drag on. I don't think there's another country on the planet that parades presidential campaigns for over a year of our lives. It's become a money dump for dirt on the opposition, which is always there to find. Again....the job just doesn't attract talent anymore if it ever did.

Agree - campaigns need to be shorter. And somehow we've got to accept that all candidates are human and screw up repeatedly. Either that or we have to start growing candidates in a lab.

To make things even worse, Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned in disgrace on the day she would have spoken at the convention. To make things even worse even worse, Hiliar stuck her thumb in Sanders' and his supporters' eye by picking a VP that isn't progressive. And to top all that:

I think you missed the part where Hillary appoints Wasserman to a high level canpaign position hours after she resigns in disgrace. Then the DNC blames Russia for the hack and focuses on that rather than the obvious corruption it exposed. This is just disgusting.

FWIW, I don't agree with Sanders on much and think his policies would be destructive. But I do think he should have been given a fair shake and that the will of the voters matter. Even if the voters elect Trump (ugh).
