Depending on the remaining guardrails we might be able to fight him off from real damage for a year or two… but what wars will we lose to win this one? Can’t think of any as big as this but two or three of them combined would be really rough.

Kennedy has said there is no safe and effective vaccine. He has said more people died of Covid vaccine than Covid. He denies HIV causes AIDS. He said Covid was engineered to kill Black people and white Christians but spare Chinese and Jews, not only racist but biologically impossible. He wants to remove fluoride from water, leading to worsening dental problems, especially in poor people with less access to dental care. He has no training or experience in science and medicine.

He didn't say that explicitly. To make a different point, he cited a study which mentioned the possibility.

He says that while he opposes fluoride, he won't force local districts to abandon it, just advise them to. (Like when they ask HHS for information on the subject.)

True, his Harvard B.A. was in history. But after his J.D. made him a lawyer, he focused on environmental law, and then became a professor of environmental law 28 years ago.

I don't think RFK will be able to change anything. Few politicians can. Even the Reagan years were 90% propaganda talk and 10% successful action. Where Trump will actually hurt people is by kicking them out of the country. Also, huge tariffs will cause huge inflation.
 
Antivaxxers often say they are not against all vaccines. Just every vaccine on the market.
Auto manufacturers are not against all safety features and mileage standards. Just every safety feature and mileage standards proposed.
Gum manufacturers used to say they are not against gun safety measures, just every gun safety measure proposed. They have now dropped all pretense. Unlike antivaxxers they are being honest, they are against all guns safety measures.

I want @CJ_is_Gone to tell me what vaccines were approved with minimal evaluation. And cite source for his/her/their claim. Does he/she/they know we can look it up on FDA site? Was this done before making the claim?

At the moment, I think the odds are pretty good that Trump doesn't have enough votes in the Senate for that to happen.

Obviously, that could change, but there'd only have to be four. I thought I read somewhere there were as many as eight that probably would vote against recessing.

So you see no issue that none of the childhood vaccines have been safety tested against placebo? That epidemiological studies that show vaccine harm have been buried?

If he's so out to lunch on the vaccine issue, why did the manufacterers demand immunity?

Besides, vaccines are just one issue, there's a whole host of others, from food additives, pesticides etc that he wants to clean from our environment.

Vaccine benefits are largely propaganda as well. The mortality of these diseases was already falling sharply before the vaccine was rolled out. And just look at how diseases (Scarlet Fever on this graph) for which no vaccine was ever created fell at about the same rate.

But cry about RFK Jr. You lefties like harming children. Pro abortion, pro mutilating children's gentials, pro giving puberty blockers, pro poisoning...

You have no idea of what "health" really is. Because to you, health is the having pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines, or simply the prevention of acute disease, while you totally ignore chronic dibilitating diseases and obesity.

That idea has already been evaluated. The rates are still skyrocketing even when you only look at severely disabled.
