About time Hank and Hal called Cashman and his incompetent scouts out on their pathetic drafting which has sucked for years.

Absolute nonsense. When team was a legit contender the stadium was full. Corporations will buy tickets when they feel the team is good. Some of the seats that are empty are the seats corporations buy. They no longer buy them because the team is a bunch of old farts. You are also completely out of touch with the youth in this country. They don't care at all about baseball. When kids don't want to go to games, parents are glad not to spend money on games to take them there.

You sound like a pathetic, Yankee apologist. All the media has been talking about is how Yankees attendance and t.v. ratings are down. Yet, you still think it isn't true. Unbelievable. Their attendance is so pathetic they give away unsold tickets for free to city kid organizations. Spare me the seats are empty but people are still in the stadium crap. That was embarrassing.

2.6 million averaging 40k a game for a team that has multiple injuries...yeah...yankee fans are jumping ship....
meanwhile over at citifield where they are begging people to come....27k a game 1.6 million

lol, didn't realize Al was such an insecure yankee fan.

Relax, buddy, just because there are people who don't like the Yankees doesn't mean you have to get so defensive.

The entire stadium was basically empty yesterday. It was pathetic. The younger generation doesn't care about baseball because it's boring. When your team has a lousy GM, awful scouts and no young talent, it's even harder to attract young fans to the game. Let's face it, without the payroll the Yankees would have missed the playoffs the last 4 years. The team is totally void of young talent.

dude...when you say i am out of touch with teh community, you may want to go check in with Baseball Heaven out here on the island...or try to book a room at Cooperstown in summer...or Ripken Baseball, tons of youth baseball travel teams,....why do i know this..well since you asked, my brother in law runs a successful travel team that I handle the books for. Is baseball the same as back in the 60's ..no...one reason is parents are afraid to let little johnny ride his bike more than a mile away from home to the ball field.
