Headlines:

BC was been arrested for leading a surging crowd of rabid, angry Blazer fans looking to lynch Green up from the hoop.
They never got Green to the hoop as he was disintegrated by the massive crowd.. simply stepped on and squashed into oblivion....

BC has already filed for an appeal....

I'm a crunchy liberal; I'd never do something so distasteful as lynch a black man... but I would gnaw on his femurs until I found marrow.

I hope he does, but no idea. I feel pretty safe in saying that if he does play, he'll be 100% or as close as he could be at the end of an NBA season. If they were gonna take a risk on him, it would have been game 2.

If green kicked nurkic id feel comfortable that nurk would take care of him by himself

If he's medically cleared to play he will play. If he's not, he won't.

Some of your theories are hilarious. Once a bone is healed it can't get even more healed by not using it.

It's very black and white, bone healed, Nurk play. Bone not healed, Nurk won't play.

And tgo not play hijm if he is healthy just because we lost the first two makes no sense. All GSW did was hold serve. If we do the same its even. Home teams are supposed to win in the playoffs, that's why its called, home court advantage.

Yeah we got our asses whooped in game 2, but by this theory anytime we lose we should not play our stars for fear of injury and we don't think we will win anyhow?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I think the assumption is that he's not 100%, but could probably play if the game was Important Enough without Hurting Things Too Much. Like, say he plays and because he's the best center since Sabonis, we win the championship, but over the course, he fractures the leg again. Okay, no problem; we have all off-season for it to heal, and it was worth it because we beasted our way to the championship. But if it looks like we're just going to play four games, then why play him and risk the dirtiest player in the NBA kicking him in the knee and tearing his ACL too?

I'm waffling; right now, this second, I think he plays Game 3... this would literally be a goodwill gesture by the FO to Nurk, to make him feel wanted and happy. If we lose Game 3 by a lot, I don't think he plays Game 4. If we win? I think he does. If we win Game 4? I think he plays Game 5, etc.

Why play dame and CJ the next two games? We're going to lose and they could get injured!!!!!!!

Did we play Dame and CJ the last two games of the regular season? Why didn't we?

If I were head coach, and we lost Game 3 (very likely since I'm a bad head coach), and I didn't feel like the city of Portland would tear me limb from limb, I'd start The Closers for Game 4.

I hate all this namby-pamby hyper-caution about Nurk. If he's healed enough that the risk of re-fracture is very low, he should play.

I mean, lets face it; a franchise center on the Blazers is basically the same as being the drummer for 'Spinal Tap.'

Spontaneous combustion would be a novel CoTF mishap.

You can laugh at Spinal Tap style explosions all you want, but famous drummer Jeff Porcaro DID die while gardening a few years after that movie came out. I'm not saying we should put Nurkic in a plastic bubble, but with this franchise's luck.....

A Blazer franchise center is doomed...As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti
I seek to cure what's deep inside, frightened of this thing that I've become.

Tell me about it. Whenever we get a new center I expect to to see Rod Serling appear next to me smoking a cigarette....

"A young man, driven to madness, by his passionate worship of a basketball team. He doesn't know that he holds the wish. The wish of a healthy center. Which will lead to utter joy or utter tragedy.... on a solemn court we call THE TWILIGHT ZONE."

(Cue music.)

And it's a goddamn shame they turned that awesome ride at D-Land into a muthafukkin
Marvel comic book wankfest.

As Barkley would say..."Rod Serling rollin' over in his grave right now."

Rod Serling would call our center "The Tower of Terror."

You didn't answer the question.
