Will the 49ers win a Super Bowl this century?

It added nothing to the conversation, and that post didn't even address NB3. I think Seattle losing Harvin and Rice for pretty much the entire season means they weren't "charmed," but whatever. We all know that he must be protected at all times by the rest of you. The lack of self-awareness is what makes this fun at times.

The lack of self-awareness is what is keeping Skynet from killing us all.

It was a textbook example of baiting/trolling. Whatever.

I just thought I'd try to post more like you. I look at you as like my mentor for how to behave on the forum. I'm trying to change my evil ways.

See, there it is again.

Dude I'm just playing with you. I'm sorry the tone of voice doesn't come across in the post, but I'm just joking. Don't take things so seriously. Gosh.

I basically said the same thing to you at the very beginning of this thread

What I don't understand is making a post like that after your team just won its first super bowl.

The LAST thing I would be doing is coming on here. I'd be out drinking and having a fucking blast.

"I'm just playing with you" is now the way to get out of baiting/trolling for baiters/trollers.

We have a 20 page thread about a poster being banned, in which NB3 has over almost 40 posts, yet "he's just joking."

Weird

I was on this forum for a whole 5-10 minutes after 4+ hours of celebrating (celebration began after Harvin's kickoff return, not when the game ended).

I had to see the butthurt on this forum. It was a glorious moment.

The payoff must continue to be amazing, btw, considering the shit you took from BG and NB3 on this board.

Also, a guy closing in on 40k posts wouldn't be on the board if the 49ers won the SB. LOL ... right.

I'm just joking! Gosh!!

The line kept moving b/c the action kept coming in on the Broncos. Not from wiseguys/sharps, but the casual fan. Seahawks were favored by 2.5 on the Monday following the championship games. As it was, even with the 5-point move (from SEA -2.5 to DEN -2.5) 68% of the action was on DEN. Good for the books, but they try to set the line such that 50% of the public bets on each side, not because they would put a large bet on DEN -2.5.

119M came in, 68% on Broncos means the books made ~20M yesterday.

As if we all don't bring a computer everywhere with us these days (smartphones). I always have multiple things open and ready to go.

Making the thread yesterday and coming back and reading it today was glorious.

You can always tell when I'm posting from my iPhone, because I have misspellings and sentences that don't make sense.

Sausage fingers!

I was buying something on craigslist, and on price I said "we could prolly work something out" but it changed "prolly" to "orally"

Horrifyingly awesome

Was there any butthurt? I didn't see any.

I don't post on here during Niner games generally.

Is this board the majority Seattle fans would you guys say? Was gonna do a poll a few months ago. I know Maxie is a skins fan, sly is a cowboys fan, ABM likes the falcons, Michael was a cowboys fan (rip), couple 9er fans, papa is a raider fan, I think mags is a raider fan, but pretty much everyone else is Seattle fan these days it seems like, so congrats to basically the whole board! Live it up! Hadn't really thought about it like that

PapaG: Also, LOL at the 49er fan who says the 49ers were a better team than Seattle. That's just the whining of the fans of a losing team.

LOL at posters who think stating an opinion is whining. If that's the truth, then all of your posts would constitute whining (well, they mostly do, but for other reasons).

I can have an opinion. It's an opinion shared by other fans, analysts, etc. It doesn't make it right, doesn't make it wrong. There are many who think Seattle is the best. Or Denver. Or Carolina. Or NE. All you can say is one team has the trophy. That doesn't guarantee they were the best. I see teams every year win championships when they're not the best. As I stated before, it wasn't to discredit Seattle. They had a helluva year. My Giant weren't the best team in 2010, but they won the WS. They escaped on team effort, hustle, and quite often, LUCK. History recognizes excellence and persistence, but champions are etched on a trophy. Being the best doesn't guarantee a trophy. I, for one, would more often that not, rather have the trophy than perhaps being considered the best team. Sorry you seem it necessary to make a bigger issue than it is, but that's your shtick and your posts like to troll for escalating responses.

Honestly I think the two teams are extremely comparable. They're just better in different areas. Seattle has the much better secondary. SF has the much better LB corps. I think Gore is pretty much done and that was a huge difference in the game. Lynch is arguably the best RB in the game.

Nate, quit whining.

There you go getting all worked up again.

They're both elite NFL teams. The NFC championship was a fun game to watch as a fan with no rooting interest.

What I find to be whining is when BlazingGiants says that he thinks the 49ers are better than the Seahawks. That's the butthurt whining of a fan of the losing team. Scoreboard is the obvious retort.

Yes. The best team always wins every game. So when Seattle lost games this year, those teams were better is clearly what you're saying.

LOL at your trolling. Not my feelings at all. But I understand why you'd feel that way. You're taking my comments, and internalizing, knowing if you had those same feelings from your own teams' perspective, you'd be butthurt on the verge of meltdown. I don't understand why you think I really take sports or this message board (or you, for that matter) all that seriously. I think we're wired differently and you're so excitable you expect everyone to be the same way.

In other words: Projection.
