I'm not sure. If we don't I will be pissed! Ending the season on a 13 game losing streak would be pathetic. That would be underachieving.

The team's in tank mode, shutting down starters left right and center. They're playing playoff-bound teams one after another. I just don't see it unless Lillard decides to score 100 in a game or something.

God I hope not have to give Philly every opportunity to pass us in the standings

Who cares! Just shut it down and get the best pick possible.

Even bad teams pull off an upset once in a while. Losing begets losing. I don't like this at all.

Maybe they should put HCP's wife on the jumbo-tron and that would get the team motivated to get one more "W" for the end of the season.

I'm with you. I absolutely hate this. Losing X amount in a row, losing to the Lakers at home, constantly getting blown out.

This does not seem like a team on the rise. This looks like a very thin underachieving team that has a long way to go.

Do we keep forgetting that three fifths of our starting unit is out? Can any team win with 3/5ths of their unit out?

4 rookies and LMA started last night, and the Blazers played a Laker team fighting for its season close right until the end.

I don't see the Blazers being favored to win any other games, but as previously posted, may as well let Philly get to the 12th spot to basically guarantee this year's first stays in PDX.

Agreed and Agreed!

Well yes 4 rookies. One is the rookie of the year and best or second best player on the team. Another is 24 years old rookie with international experience. (And the one starter who isn't a rookie is an all-star) Also, the Blazers choose to start 4 rookies, but the 3 vets off the bench all got 20+ minutes. This team should be able to win at home!

The team has given up in my eyes. I tuned out last year, but I don't remember the team being as bad at home last year as this year. And I thought last year was as bad as it gets.

Let's take a different angle: we lost three starters and started 3 people from the worst bench possibly in NBA history.

When we have a chance at playoffs, I'm all about winning. But when we're out, lose lose lose. As was said, Philly passing us is best for our future. I only wanted to beat Lakers to kick them out of playoffs

Still don't think we should be losing 6 in a row at home.

But this losing streak is killing me, so I'm a glass is half empty right now with the Blazers. If it is true that the Blazers have the worst bench in NBA history, and with Hickson on his way out, I guess that shows how far the Blazers are away. They need a starter and to replace the worst bench in history.

So then really it is lose, lose, win. :)

I agree with this. This losing streak is showing just how incredibly far away from being a good team we are. We could be in lottery mode for years. Very depressing.

Poppycock. The Blazers are missing 3 starters. That's the only reason the losing streak is where it is. Up until a couple of weeks ago when the injury bug bit, the Blazers were still in contention to make the playoffs this season, which is absolutely amazing given the poor production of the bench. A couple of good moves this summer and the Blazers are going to be a consistent playoff team for years to come.

Assuming no injuries. If anything, this show how vulnerable the Blazers are. Blazers have had Lillard and Aldridge (their big 2) playing in the last 3 home games and haven't been able to win any of those games. If losing role players to injuries causes this, Blazers can't afford to lose a their major players or it could be worse than this.

But POR did lose major players. Some may only call Batum a role player but he plays a bigger role then that on our team.

Certainly. This team was already bad at defense - but without Batum and Matthews, we've lost 2 of our 3 "best" defenders (LA being the other). It's hard to remember how good this team has looked at times given the crap we've seen the last few weeks, but I just keep picturing the blowout in San Antonio.

Bullshit, The only thing this losing streak is showing is that the front office is shutting it down. If these where big games that really meant something the Blazers entire roster could be playing just fine.
