Well, I'll put it this way

# of GM's on the Blazers: 1

# of competent GM's on the Blazers: 0

Buchanon, Born, Miller and Cho = 4 guys who have played at GM for this team in the last 6 months... I wondering if I might agree on the latter number, though.

Seriously, I want to tell him it's okay... we forget how human they are sometimes. And yeah yeah, they're rich and get paid to play a game... rabble rabble, whatever. They're kids who are out there trying, and experiencing some bad times. I feel bad for them when they lose too.

The Blazers lost. Big whoop. They played hard tonight. I can respect that. I never have any problem with the team as long as they play hard. The only losses that are hard for me to take, are when the team doesn't play hard. And that wasn't tonight.

Great effort by Aldridge, Batum and Mathews. Tough loss to take when we fought so hard. I still say we need to see Miller/Mathews/Batum/Aldridge/Camby start again and play starter minutes for a two to three week span to see what we produce.

Kudos to Miller for coming out there and just ignoring everything Roy has said and playing a strong game. I was glad to see nate tell a reporter that Roy didn't play much the first half because Batum was outplaying him, not because his knees are bothering him. I think Roy needs some tough love. I'm not convinced that his knees are really holding him back that much; I think he is having a little trouble with his shot and is frustrated. It's frustrating as a fan also; it's basically 4 on 5 when he is out there.

One thing i like about Mathews, he is great finisher, makes layups at full speed and under pressure.

Don't know if it is coaching or poor decision making by Aldridge, but why was Dirk allowed to beat us time after time in the last few minutes with jump shots over smaller guys. Seems to me once he's in the 10 foot range against a smaller guy (which is our entire team except Aldridge), that Aldridge has to come over and double and someone needs to rotate to cover Chandler.

Great to see everyone working so hard and some great ball and player movement (excepting one guy of course).

Wow you would think with the way you folks use +/- it almost seems like those individual players are solely responsible for the results. :ohno:

I guess you don't remember my take on +/- and how silly I think it is. You do realize that post was made in jest right?

I must be seeing something totally different. Have you seen Roy ATTEMPT to run? I think he should seriously consider shutting it down until further notice or something. It's painful to watch and he's killing the team on both ends.

Rudy needs to shoot the 3 only when wide open and try to drive the lane more. He drove last night and got to the FT line. More of that please.

I am not sure what to think. On one hand you are right seeing him run after lose balls is painful to watch. But on the other hand some of the shots he is missing I used to watch the WheelBlazers make. (Of course they didn't go up against any shot blockers) But these lay-in's he has been barely misssing (where they spin in and out ) seem more mental than physical.

There is no doubt that he is playing in pain, and deserves a little more resepct from fans. I mean he has worked his ass off for 4 years and now after 25 games we want to dump him. That can't be fun for him. But if he is in as much pain as he looks, then yes shut him down.

Yeah, have you not seen him run out there? He's tripping, missing his shots, has an awkward jumper, can't move laterally.

Yep. Hubie broke it down really well. He talked about how he would make a big step on the side of the defender swinging by him. Now he can't extend his leg that far so he brings the defender along with him.
