Shaedon Shaedon Shaedon.....
We dont need hero ball, we need good looks

6 and a half hours I can't get back today

I'm done

The Mavs tried to tank this but our schtoyle was stronger.

We aren’t very good. Definitely not as good as I thought we’d be. We shouldn’t be losing to teams with this level of players. Yet here we are again.

I tried telling ya. The word is out on Toumani sucking this year. I seen it very early on in the season

these things were out chances tbh:

Deni airball at the end of regulation
Grant airball in OT
Shaedon quick 3 clanker
Shaedon driving hero dunk blocked

This a horrible loss and is on the coaching staff. Seems the closed door team meeting did not do much good. Copper is going to be very good. Taller than I thought. Taller than JG

Yep. But they are who they are...and clearly defense isn't clicking anymore.

Losses to the Lakers without 80% of their starting 5 and this game isn't good.

This team isn't good. They might not get above .500 again for a while, the next 10 games are against no teams under .500

And with how this team plays against bad teams, I'm not even sure they'll get above .500 again this year.

I didn't think we were going to win this one with Jrue out.

I'll never understand why Deni didn't take a higher percentage shot.

At least we took it to OT. Again, this season is about getting used to competing for wins not necessarily the win/loss record. Our guy competed.

This Blazer team is beat the fuck up and without there QB ( Jrue ) this team is average at best right now. This team needs Scoot back cause IF i have to see Caleb Love in the game for one more minute I am going to throw up. Also is Billups coaching this team through a cell phone or something cause I swear Billups was wearing a Splitter suit or something cause these are mistakes I would expect from Billups.

Next to the Laker game that should have been a easy win that pissed me off this is second on the list and it's barely behind that Laker loss is terms of me being pissed off right now.

I really don’t see much coaching going on during the game. Looks like the players do anything they want with no direction. I am out

To be honest I'm surprised we kept it that close. Jrue is that important to this team. The positive is that Sharpe continues his strong play - not exactly efficient but he did get 6 assists as well. Also we outrebounded them. We lost this because they hit 44% of their threes.

I'm not sure what people think. We sacrificed one roster spot this year on a player that wasn't going to play at all because he's injured. We sacrificed another on a lottery ticket that honestly I think has enough chance to pay off that it was the prudent move.

Drafting and keeping Coward over Yang wasn't getting this team any higher than the play-in, so there was no point in doing that if the team's eventually going to be a true contender.

And I hate continually trying to beat this drum, but with OKC, Houston and Denver where they are and then the other good teams in the West, making it into the top eight is one step forward that's three or four steps back in the next year or two. Shaedon, Scoot, Toumani and Clingan need to learn how to play. We see flashes, but, let's be honest, they aren't consistent. Toumani is working on becoming a better 3-point shooter and his overall game has struggled as a result, but, if he's a better 3-point shooter by the end of the season or the start of next season, it matters. And giving up our first-round pick in 2026 to the Bulls just because we made it into the top eight hurts us in the long run.

This team was built to compete but mainly to learn and position ourselves for the three or four years after this. We're a better team by far than we were last year, but there's still going to be growing pains, and tonight was one of them. Oh, well. The only real bad thing from tonight is if guys like Shaedon and Deni don't learn from it.

Splitter's "This is going to plan, whatevs" face n actions are identical to his "We're struggling, let it be, whatevs" face.

A lot of Debbie Downers out in force. We're missing:

Jrue
Scoot
Matisse
Blake

Now, granted we never had Scoot this year, but without Thybulle and Wesley it's just asking too much of our thin rotation to play the 92 feet defense we were playing. And without that, our offense is that much harder because they have time to set their defense.

You want a coach that calls plays every time down court? Seems to me coaches like Phil Jackson and Larry Bird didn't do that and they did okay.

I think Deni was gassed.

We were so shorthanded roster-wise that we couldn't commit to doing what we do best, and Jrue not being in there to settle things down and get us good shots ... I already chalked this up to an L the moment I found out he wasn't playing.

But, yeah, this season is about competing, getting better and learning and then adding something roster-wise next year along with some experience and savvy. Thinking this team was going to make this massive jump because sometimes we play great isn't realistic. What this team can do when it is clicking should excite the fanbase. Instead, we're acting like just because they can do it occasionally they should do it all the time, but our younger guys aren't nearly there yet. Let's consider most of these young guys were defering to Anfernee Simons the last few years. This is a big change for them. It's going to be a bumpy ride but it's going to have its high spots if we just understand what we're in for.

When the team desperately needed players Rupert still only managed spot minutes

Time to cut him loose

I want a coach that at least calls a play on the last possession of regulation in a tied game... especially when it looks like Deni is going to settle for a one on one three pointer.
