Lillard has become a superstar, espn FS1 lillard and blazers are a good feel story with the injury to nurkic and lillard has exploded to scene of mainstream and social media.....Refs were rooting for OkC much more because of russ and PG, but they are out...., Lebron is out! GSW crew or harden and CP3 one of them will go home, star power dying....But with Lillard there is insane story line and he is BOX office!!! In NBA all we need is refs calling key calls for us, to help us over the hump!!

This game is and has always been about making buckets. If you make enough the refs are not part of the game. That is exactly why he chose to take that 37' shot. When it went in there was no way a ref could stop it.
Score the ball and win the games. Simple.

Exactly, overtime would have given refs more time to control the outcome. Dame took it out of their hands. He saw how the game was being called. He said ok, so this is how it's going to be...ok and took over. Dame was winning that game one way or the other. He was bent on it.

Depends on who we play.

The league has subsidized Popovich's career with their unquestionable generosity and padded SA's record for decades, especially in the playoffs.

I think we'll get a fair shake against Denver.

Now don't jump the gun here pilgrim.
You forgot how Coach Popp will completely intimidate the refs to the point where Portland will struggle to even win a game vs. SA.
It's the way it is.

(Am I supposed to use green font on this one?)

No green font on that one bro....

We are still a small market team lost on the other side of the country where it rains a lot. But Lillard shot should give us some new fans.

Who else is having to gear up and find the inner strength to somehow root for the spurs?
No, its not as bad as having to root for the fakers in la, but man. Im having to psych up for this. It just doesn't feel right.

The NBA is rigged just like the NFL when 2 equally strong teams play a few bad calls vs one team in key situations can alter the game.

We got screwed for 20+ years i want the refs for once to go for us I don’t give a shit
