If we go 1-4 on this trip, which is very possible, that would put us at 46-28 with a home game coming against Memphis. Phoenix's next 5 games are against Minnesota and 4 sub 500 teams. If they go 4-1, they would be 44-30. They have one more game against us that would help them pick up a game and the tiebreaker. This is not doom and gloom. These are the facts. We are in trouble. So what do you think? Will we make the playoffs?
 
Yes.

Phoenix is in 9th, by the way... lets look at 7 and 8 too. lol. Look at Dallas and Memphis too... they kinda have to pass us too. There's a lot of moving parts for us to miss the playoffs. Those are just facts. :)

I'm aware Phoenix is 9th. So if we fall behind the 9th best record in the West, WE are 9th.

mmmk, fantastic. But how about you put up the other teams who are between us as well. Because as much as we lose, they have to win as well. Not just phoenix, but Dallas and Memphis. It's really very simple to understand. I can make a step by step if you need it.
 
Dallas and Memphis have just play at their same level they've been playing at as we go in free fall. They are playing at 6-4 and 7-3 in last 10. We are in trouble.

By the way, Strenuus, who are you? Sex? Age? Profession? Location?
 
5 of Grizzlies' next 6 games are against definite non-playoff teams. The other one? Against us. They have owned us this year.

Let's look at Dallas. They have a tougher schedule with 5 of their next 6 against playoff teams.

Exactly.

But, we have to see where Gasol's ankle is at. Remember, they weren't nearly as good without Gasol.

Let the games play out.

Ask the arrogant bunch who feels they can turn it off and on at will and seem to be the only club that suffers from fatigue throughout the season.

I don't give out any personal information about me over the internet. But, you know I'm in college, that should give you some hint, right? Use the facts I have given out. lol.

If we win 4 more games, there's a 98.8% chance.
3 more games, and it's a 90.1% chance.
If we finish with 50 wins, then we make the playoffs.

Not sure how accurate it is but it's a good ballpark figure.


Here's Phoenix. They need to go 9-4 to have a 94.9% chance to make the playoffs or 10-3 for a 99.5 chance. Their schedule is rough in April.

So the season will be 4, 5, 6 games longer than it otherwise would have been.

Is there a big market for farm grown turtles? I prefer the taste of wild ones myself.
 
i just sell the feet to a shall remain nameless major keychain manufacturer in china, the rest go into the turtle food
 
I'd rather fall to 8 and get the spurs then 7 and play okc.
