Will Yi Bring His Translator East?

Matt Beyer wasn’t part of the deal that brought Yi Jianlian and Bobby Simmons to New Jersey, but he may be headed East anyway. Beyer, a recent Wisconsin graduate, has been Yi’s translator since he arrived in the US. On hearing Yi had been drafted by the Bucks last year, Beyer sent in his resume, was called for an interview and started the same day. Now, he’s talking to the Nets about continuing the job in New Jersey.
