Win or Lose

NBA general managers are stupid. I think his playoff performance might hurt him, but I still think he's going to get a decent offer based on his regular season.

Is he worth Millsap straight across? Highly doubtful. Extremely unlikely. Then again, I have no idea what ATL will do if they lose this series.

Sacramento's GM is stupid; most the others are pretty solid nowadays. This isn't 15 years ago where GMs were all former players like Elgin Baylor, Kevin McHale or Isiah Thomas.

I know one thing Atlanta won't do; trade away their most valuable player for a backup we might let walk for nothing. Such a stupid comment.

Seriously? Who is DeAndre going to guard if we have Aminu-Harkless-Meyers on the front line? You think he is going to sit back and let Meyers shoot? We are getting killed because Jordan can just camp in the key and clog things up. Meyers isn't perfect, but we really could use him in this series.

Since they don't actually have to guard Harkless and Aminu, they can put whoever they want on Meyers.

You think Millsap is better than Horford? I think Millsap wasn't even an All-Star until he got to ATL and was paired with an already-great big man.

I guess you need to educate us, oh genius of all-things basketball. Oh prognosticator of prognosticators, who said that the series is already over. Please, bless us with your wisdom.

Yes, but that would change the whole dynamic. Jordan is not capable of chasing Aminu or Harkless around the court and eventually they will hit shots.

DeAndre would guard Harkless.

They'd have Redick guard Meyers. Seriously.

I'd take both those matchups. Jordan is not going to go out on Harkless or chase him around the court. Meyers would easily shoot over Redick.

This series has really given Neil some useful data about our strengths and weaknesses.

We talk a lot about the playoff experience that the players are getting, but I think the scouting that Neil is getting from this series is equally valuable, if not more so.

I made it a hot line. You made it a hot song.

Making the playoffs is a valuable tool for evaluating the team. Before the playoffs and now, your views on who is vital for the team's future is different.

No doubt Crabbe is blessed with the big "potential" as a 3-D guy. The big question is if he has the heart and desire to get there.

Danny Green is playing like hot garbage and he's making $10 million a year over the next three years.

Proof that LMA makes those around him worse. ;)

He really wasn't that great when they gave him that contract.

11.7 ppg, 4.2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block.

He was shooting 42% from three though.... which is nice.

I was joking - hence the winky face.

I don't understand this at all. I saw Meyers get schooled by Paul Pierce this season. Can you imagine Meyers having to help guard Chris Paul on pick and rolls? They would attack him relentlessly. Yeah he'd make a couple three's but he'd give up twice as much on defense. Meyers has some use as a post defender but that isn't what DeAndre does. It would look like the Detroit losses where Drummond destroyed us. With Meyers playing do you think Plumlee gets 20 reb and 9 assists?

If Meyers is out there we likely lose game 3 and are about to be swept. I'm so glad he's not playing in these playoffs.
Were not stopping Chris Paul anyway...

Win = we need to make a spash this summer. Lose = we need to make a big fucking spash this summer.

Danny green plays consistent defense, and excels in big games.

He's averaging 5.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, .5 assists, and 2 steals per game in the playoffs right now. He's shooting 40% from the field.

I mean, that's great that he excels in big games, but he's still playing like crap.

I'm sure Utah would trade us something of lesser value for Millsap.

The thing is; Millsap isn't in Utah anymore; he's under contract with Atlanta. How he's played there matters.

If Boston beats Atlanta and Horford jumps ships would they rebuild around someone else? Unlikely but I suppose its possible. Having Allen Crabbe as any sort of big piece in a trade for him is delusional. They could possibly get a star player such as Blake Griffin in return. There isn't any universe where the Hawks are interested in blowing up their team, trading away their most value asset, and using it to build around Allen Crabbe.

Boy, it's a good thing I didn't say that Allen Crabbe would be the centerpiece of a rebuild, eh? My face sure would be red!

I mean, I think it's hilarious that anyone would believe that LAC would trade Griffin for Millsap, but that's really another topic for another day.

He has a defensive rating of 85 for the last four games. Crabbe is at 111.

His +/- was 10, 12, 11 and 1
Crabbe was -18, -11 and -2
