I have to set one up. Migrate Quickbooks and Outlook data to a new machine.

how hard is this all? I've been using mac, know XP decently, but I hear Windows 8 is teh suck?

By the time you get everything figured out and working Windows 9 will be out.

It isn't horrible except they took away the start bar. You don't have to use the Metro part of it if you don't want. It isn't great either though. They are coming out with Windows 8.5 around the end of the year to address customer complaints.

I heard they're dumping metro.

Start button is coming back per the latest.

I am getting used to it but glad I have a Mac at work and home. If they still forced me to use Outlook id quit

Should have gone Windows 7. I actually like Windows 7 a lot. I've been interested in testing out the Google Chrome OS.

My bro has a chrome book. It's pretty dope. It's super fast and if you use google services a lot...it's good. But not if you SKYPE or download photos. I was thinking of getting the chromebox but I'm getting a new Mac mini next time they update the processors.

Someone paid for my ticket to Portland this weekend if I set this machine up so hey...free flight for a few hours work. I'm all Mac now personally...I can get used to windows 8 but just easier to do shit on a Mac

Apple annoys me as a company, and Microsoft is climbing the list as well. I don't really like supporting a company that I hate.
