BTW...we found a real solid backup also. Talbot played well in both these games. We can rest Hank some and still have very good goalie play unlike last season. Good stuff.

Pouliot was real big tonight. We need him and Brassard badly, so great to see.

Well deserved win as the rangers had much the better of play. Talbot was fantastic tonight. One thing I thought curious the was kreider was playing was pairing him in OT with boyle. Really!! How about with stepan or richards. Thank god this opening season 9 game bullshit road trip is finally over.

3-6 is not great obviously, but this was a very tough start. I was thinking 2-7 or 3-6, so 3-6 is the "better record", and considering the tough teams we played, a month on the road, and all the injuries, 3-6 is not awful.

Let's get a roll going Monday night.

played a very good road game tonight and some players were due to score and they did. Talbot will be a solid backup at least for this year.

I think Stepan will be fine. He started very slowly last season as well, and then took off. I think he'll find his footing soon. We need Brassard and Pouliot to play well and give us some 2nd line scoring, that is what made tonight even better.

I never thought Talbot was even backup material, but I'm eating my words so far.

The best team play this year. And yes, Pyatt is deadwood. Brassard has great energy and it resulted
in the winning goal.

I was very impressed with Talbot in these two games. Looks like exactly what you need from a backup goalie. A calm guy, who plays his angles well, and is just solid. Good to see for us moving forward. We can rest Hank here and there and still expect solid goaltending.

a great game tonight in Hershey......and wasn't even one of the stars of the game.

Brassard, Pouliot and Zuccarello finally scored. They are going to have do that if the Rangers are to win. Stepan still did not sore yet.
