I love that goddamn movie.

Wrong. We are not giving up that pick for that deal.
In what deal? I didn't suggest any deal. I set out the parameters for the type of deal that will likely be made.

If you want me suggest an actual deal in this vein, it would be something like:

Biebs + pick +Vonleh + Harkless for Evan Fournier + Hezonja

which would require that we give up a 1st.

I would absolutely love to see something like that.

Which will also never happen.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well you deserve!"
That's signature material right there.

Stotts starts a rookie or two early in every season...he plays pretty much the entire bench up to January..after the allstar game he always goes with a solid 9 or 10 man rotation....his teams are usually better in March than November...I see this season as the same other than he just got Baldwin 4 and Swanigan back

Except for when he almost refused to play CJ so instead Olshey has to go out and trade 3 players and a 1st round pick for Afflalo. 'Magically', when CJ got minutes the next season, he was good. If Stotts would have played him the year before, he would have been just fine and it would have kept Portland from that terrible trade.

IDK in 14-15 CJ had 6 DNPCD's(including the last game where everyone sat against Dallas). & missed 14 games due to injury.

It's far more accurate to say.
Stotts, Aldridge, and co refused to not give Aldridge 20+ shot attempts a game and let the guards make Aldridge's life easier.
Therefore letting CJ dribble, dribble, dribble was not an option for that team.

Now that the streak is over and the Blazers got their asses handed to them, the trades are back on!! ;)

Ill go a step further in that it might have made us a true contender.

Picture this. With CJ getting regular (possibly 6th man) minutes that year, it would have taken a bit less off of Wes and maybe he never gets injured?

So we march into those playoffs with the healthy team that was a top 4 with an emerging true 6th man in CJ.

I dunno. I think that team with the CJ of last year playing as our 6th man? Tough Tough to beat. CJ would have been scorching the second units.
