Oh Boy Oh Boy...Can't wait for the new X Files debuting this Wednesday .IMG_1249.JPG brain-transplant.jpg

The first episode was great. To hear Aaron Paul's voice in an episode starring Jesse Plemons (Todd, from Breaking Bad) was amazing.

I'm glad somebody liked it. I thought it sucked.

Speaking of which, we don't need a Blazer get together for me to get that from you do we? I can go get a USB tomorrow.

I will load the episodes on a 16 gig jumpdrive, we'll meet up for lunch, you give me a blank 16 gig jumpdrive in return.

Happy hour might work better. It's hard to get around mid day during the week.

Watched Bright because Mrs PokerDog is a big Will Smith fan. (I don't know why either.)

Anyway, it was surprisingly good. Solid 7/10. Can't wait for the sequel.

Saw it with the Mrs. It was good. A bit confusing. Leaves a lot of questions to be answered. I thought the end was a bit to anticlimatic. Looks to be setting up for a sequel.

Also watching The Mist on Netflix. I'm a fan of the movie, thought I'd check the show out. Its ok. Very made for tv feeling...like the langoliers movie...dialoge isn't great. I know that it being a show, it has to be stretched out...but it feels at times like they are stretch armstronging that bitch.

The one question it does answer:

What would it be like present day if orcs, elves, humans, and faeries all really existed?

Clearly

X-Files.

Why?

9 different fathers to Scully's baby.

2 different smoking bad guys.

That was just dumb.

Just saw The Commutor....Liam Neeson still has a certain set of skills. Takes a pretty good ass kicking, and gives a pretty good one out for being 65. Not, a perfect story, but very entertaining.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Very good movie, solid 8/10. I can see Frances McDormand winning her 2nd Academy Award.

2 episodes in on Philip K Dick's Electric Dreams on Amazon.

Very good, 8/10.

The last two episodes of the X-Files has been awesome. Tonight's was hilarious.
