We are going to get hit again with another Storm here in the North East with Flooding and high winds so if you don't hear from me I have no power.

...we're still relatively warm here. ( low 70s)

Plum trees, peach trees, pear trees, already bloomed and fruit is set.

I would not mind a nice basket of these fruits!........since you are basking
in nice warm temps!

over 48 yrs now in the Mojave Desert. One things obvious, Not one Weatherman can predict weather accurately here, not one....

they say sunny, it fkng rains, and freezes. They say its going to rain, it never will. Never have I seen a season where freezing temps didn't appear until approx 2 wks ago, followed by Spring weather, followed by freezing temps.

Almost always tho' in So Cal, fruits, produce in general Tree's and flowers bud out and bloom, the Jack Frost appears for a month thereafter, as its done this week; while Caly loses 1/4 of its produce yearly in this fashion....

with all of So Cal record breaking (in qty of acreage burned & homes destroyed) fires Sept-January, it sprinkles 1/2 inch, and mudslides abound...

Never will I forget driving my Motorcycle to work in Jan of 83 at 4am, could see the stars with a few clouds. By 7am it began to snow. By 11 am we had a foot of snow. My buddy gave me a ride home, with a 30 minute drive down the freeway, which looked like the Iraqi retreat or
"Highway of Death 1991", instead of burned vehicles, incl all Semi Trucks jack knifed, all was under a foot of snow. While the NWS radio broadcast at that time, was on a continuous non-updated loop, the very words: "Mostly sunny with a slight chance of partial cloud cover"....Highway of Death, The result of American forces bombing retreating Iraqi forces, Kuwait, 1991.jpg
