not entirely true. As MM brought out that if Oregon demolishes most competition but only has two losses to #1 and # whatever Stanford is.. that would make them a strong case for one of the better 2 loss teams for an at large bid

There are 10 BCS bowl slots. 6 go to AQ champs. 1 will go to Boise. That means 3 for AQ conference at large teams. No conference gets more than 2 BCS slots. So, SEC gets 1 at-large slot, Big-12 gets one, and there is one left for a team from the Pac-12 or Big 10 (because there's no way the ACC or Big East send two teams). Most likely, it would come down to either us or Nebraska. I say we'd have a fighting chance, even with 2 losses.

Isn't that entire point of "bowl projections" that most of like like to read?

If you don't like it, don't join in. What's the point in saying fans are freaking out and shouldn't discuss the possibilities of unfavorable matchups based on previous play and history?

Admit it...you're a MOD who is discouraging discussion on something that is a big part of sports - evaluating matchups. You mock people for not only using the occasional cap, but mock them for viewing some teams as unbeatable (re: gods comment). Besides that, the only thing that myself and another poster said was that Oregon would "struggle...like everyone" when discussing Wis size.

I enjoy evaluating matchups. I do not enjoy differing opinions being talked down to as someone is an idiot when their opinion holds just as much validity is another one.

again my beef is not that someone views them as unbeatable. Hell you and I have been giving LSU more credit than some others on here. My beef is with how someone handles said disagreement.

I don't like hypothetical questions about who we'll play only because I personally find it to be wasted energy, I don't really care if other people do it. Having said that, what would it take for us to possibly play in the National Championship hypotheticallly.....assuming TT holds on to this victory.
