I want Williams at 7.

I don't really care about their order. If it makes sense to take Salaun at 7 and then trade 14 with change to move up a few spots to get Cody, I'd be fine with that too. It's so hard to differentiate between Holland, Williams and Buzelis. I like all three to some degree. In my other tier, I really like Salaun and Ware.

Probably, but we just don't know. They could use 14 plus their 2nds or a player to move up a few spots. I think 14 + Brogdon can certainly get them to Chicago or OKC's pick.

Knecht at 7 would be pure stupidity.
NBAdraft.net has Knecht going to Houston at #3.

Blazers can't call Chicago.
the conversation would go;
{ring ring}
"Hi, this is Portland"
Bulls, "Where's our FRP ??"
Blazers, {click}

The scary thing about the latest ESPN mock was that it had the Blazers ending up with Topic and Edey.

They predicted Kris Murray, Scoot and Shae. Guy has a relationship with Mike Schmitz.

Watch us get Knecht at 7 and Edey at 14 and the FO talk glowingly about how they're seasoned mature players who are ready to contribute immediately...

I'm getting nauseous... Luckily I don't see any way in hell we take Knecht at 7. This front office has a history of prioritizing upside.

There is a world where Knecht is the best player in this draft. Remember the year when Mike Miller won ROY?

But he still wasn't the best player in that draft. Kenyon Martin just hadn't fully come back from that broken leg.

That being said we are looking at a draft that's similar to that one. Kenyon was an all star and a star role player but he was never the kind of star you could build a team around. Obviously someone in this draft or multiple people in this draft could surprise us but the way it looks to the experts out there, this class will have some high level role players and probably like a dozen guys that stick around in this league and there's no telling where those guys that actually stick and contribute will be drafted.

I do think in a draft like this you just look for the highest possible upside and take your swings because why not when most of these guys truly have low floors.

Not Topic. Not with those knees.
