Looks like Williams is still more "touchable" than he thinks...

Kahn doesn't want to. Adelman will if need be. 1st choice is to find a deal w/o him though. RT @BennyBeThis @DarrenWolfson Give up D-Will?

Might be time to play hardball... He's about the only asset not named "unprotected first round pick", "Ricky Rubio" or "Kevin Love" that would worth us trading Batum.

Yes Williams or that Petovic center would be acceptable too. If they are trying to "entice" us with Ridnour and the other spare scraps on that roster I'd rather just let Batum walk. Force Minny to put their money where there mouth is and offer that 50mil deal.

What is a herizon? Is it the female equivalent of a hisizon?

And why is it that all trolls write as if they had not completed 6th grade?

Could it be because they have not completed 6th grade?

Don't know, don't know, probably.

That's just how kids write these days. Writing is a lost art. I took a writing 122 class back in like 2004 and even then I was amazed at how badly most of the people in my class could write. We had to proof each others work and most of the papers I read had terrible grammar, run-on-sentences, poor thought processing... etc. The future does not look bright in the ol' US of A.

Maybe they should read more books and post less crap. That would improve writing skills. Hell, just use spell check.

Texting, spell check, and the 140-character limit on Twitter is only exacerbating the downfall of the written word in this country with our younger generation - IMO, LOL...

their seams too bee an problem with the kids thees dais (spellcheck approved)

I'd say over half of the people my age that I know have read less than 2 full books in their life, and they were in middle school or the beginning of high school.

Actually most kids have probably only read a combination of:

Harry Potter
Twilight
The Hunger Games

And you have a graphing calculator app on your smart phone.

I just have a dumb phone. Just if I need to make a call and I'm not at home/work.

I always verify calculator by doing the math in my head. If it matches, calculator is right.

knowledge isnt as important anymore, we have robots to do the number crunching. what is important is being able to successfully talk a boy or girl into the sack

Actually, I think the Wolves can pay Batum the money. All that has to happen is Darko being amnestied, then the release/buyout of Martell Webster and Brad Miller (who is retiring anyways). Kahn is just trying to do it another way right now. But if it comes down to it, he could make it happen. Roy and Shved haven't inked their deals yet so they don't count as of right now.

1. I, personally, am glad that Williams is "untouchable" and can only presume this means because the Blazers don't want to touch him.
2.This is all theater: European agents do this kind of thing all the time. The Wayne Rooney Man U negotiations went like this.
3. Batum's agent has realized that Kahn can't actually pay the money that's promised unless the Blazers do a sign-and-trade, so he's instructed Batum to try to force the Blazers to do that.
4. The Blazers have absolutely no incentive to do that.

This will all be forgotten (just like Hibbert's "desire to be in Portland" will be forgotten in Indy) by the time training camp rolls round.

So how will you feel when he gets rid of all those guys and then the Blazers match Batum and you get nothing?
