Are you really having an argument with me about defense when we are repeatedly letting the worst teams in the league rape us? We are getting DESTROYED by the Wizards. What's your argument? Honestly that was a damn good reboot for the Trek franchise.

Look at this: this thread has devolved into "The Blazers Suck And This Is Why". Welcome to fucking reality. The Blazers are a lottery team. They will never be anything with the coaching staff AND the players they have. No amount of motivation or tweaking the roster will do anything. THEY SUCK. From the top to the bottom. There's no building anything. There's no bright spots. What little assets they have should be traded for draft picks and prospects. END THIS NOW. Blow up everything: players, coaches, front office.

respectfully disagree. though it was pretty bubblegummish and predictable. star trek updated with modern movie character and plot cliches. also the spock time travel plotline seemed a little too illogical : )

I sort of think so as well. Often when the star leaves early due to injury the team has to change it's rotation and struggles before finding its balance. Granted we don't have much talent, but we're at home and I'm hopeful.

Agreed. After watching some TOS for the first time in years, the 2009 movie just feels right. Fun, enthusiastic, and true to the spirit of the show & characters. Best Star Trek movie since Galaxy Quest.
