An NBA executive says the struggling Washington Wizards are "open for business" for trades. The source said the Wizards are obviously very open to moving guard Gilbert Arenas, but don't think they will have any takers because of his hefty contract. "Someone will take the fall," the source said. The source added that Washington management "loves" young center JaVale McGee and would only deal him in a trade that includes Arenas.
i love javale, any way anyone takes on arenas bloated deal? chance in hell? im skeptical.

dont know if i hate or love it

not a fan of getting a scoring sf. With Bayless emerging, Batum is the perfect 3-man. Now if we wanted a vet, go after crash or battier.
Hell no to Arenas' deal too.

JaVale McGee is awful. He makes Kevin Durant look look like an Olympic weightlifter and has no offensive game other than an occasional dunk.

Butler would look good in a Blazer uni though.

$19,269,308
$20,807,922
$22,346,536

A big no thanks to Arenas.

mcgee 1.2 blocks in 8mpg = good. i saw a few of his games last year and he was a beast.

anyhoo....

yeah gilbert aint going nowheres with that deal.

Bulter would be awesome, but with Bayless' recent emergence it is looking like we don't need him more than we need a solid 3 point shooter at SF. Bayless, Roy, Aldridge, and Oden will all be the ones taking the shots primairly, and to have a 3 point shooter at SF would be good for both Roy and Bayless as they can attack and kick out if needed.

I'd look more at cherry picking Butler off of that roster. The likeliest candidates to move in order to get him would seem to be expiring contracts and probably an add-in like Rudy and maybe Martell (if they even wanted him). McGee has potential, but there have been numerous reports that he's kind of difficult to coach -- not so much that he's a prima donna, but that he's not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but he's not worth taking on Agent Zero for.
