You brought up adults in your all rape is the same stance.

And the penalties we impose as a society directly reflects how we feel about crime.

Look at the penalties for possession of pot here in Oregon. The majority of citizens' opinions have changed.

Laws in Oregon have changed, the penalties for rape have increased, see Measure 11 for example, and the penalties for raping a child have increased more than rape of an adult. These are facts. You can call it parsing but that doesn't make it accurate.

They just throw accusations at the wall and see what sticks. The obvious logical deficiency in all of those rape quotes is why abortion should be legal if you're raped? If abortion is murder, why is it ok ever?

Republicans, especially the evangelicals don't ever see the hypocrisy in their opinions. They defend and argue otherwise tooth and nail. The Democrats are more honest that they just don't like something even if it isn't fair or logical.

Kneejerk liberals are the mirror image of the Keurig Hannity dimwits.

It should be easy to see who I'm insulting from my post. And I picked the most insulting word I could think of while I was angry. In the future I'll be sure to include gender neutral insults to satisfy all sides.

I also don't think there would be an uproar if he'd said dick instead of cunt. Selective outrage is something I dismiss instantly.

I have deleted the original "c" word that some of you rightfully found offensive.

I would like to remind some of you that we are a community. When someone takes issue with a post please respond to them with understanding and respect even if you don't agree with them. Also when complaining about a post stick with that instead of making generalized insults and demands.

I am always available to talk to privately and will always listen and take what you are saying seriously.

During one of the states (so many I honestly can't keep them all straight) debating more restrictions on vaginas, one male legislator said while in general a raped woman must be forced to carry a subsequent pregnancy to term, he'd make an exception for "rape in the worst way". For it to be "rape in the worst say", the woman needed to be a religious Christian virgin saving herself for marriage who was "raped in the worst way". So if she is not religious, or something other than Christian, or not a virgin, or a virgin but not necessarily waiting for marriage, or a religious Christian virgin waiting for marriage raped in just the ordinary way, force her to carry to term.

Steve Bannon uttered fire and brimstone threats two days ago against and Republican who won't back Moore, saying he knows their names blah blah blah. By yesterday the courageous white supremacist was backing down, maybe not support Moore. Dinesh d'Souza said he had not taken a stand on this race until women accused Moore of sexual assault, which now decided him that he has to support Moore for Senate. So he was neutral until he heard one candidate was a child molester, then backed the molester.

It appears the letter from 50 pastors may be a forgery, that a previous letter of endorsement was cut and pasted to make it look like it applied to backing Moore against his accusers. Something about bearing false witness in those famous 10 Commandments Moore insisted on posting in the courthouse?

White evangelicals in Alabama are reportedly more likely to vote for Moore now. Guess he's putting those bitches in their place.

I love being told what things I can have an opinion on. Makes me feel like such an American.

I suppose if someone asks me if they should stick their penis in a running food processor I'll just have to say "I don't know, never done it"
