I do not have exact answer on why ?real? players are used. But the best answer will be that SI did not get the license from the Holland and Germany FA to display the real team.

To reveal the real players, you simply need to delete a folder in the Football Manager 2007 directory. Go to C

Program FilesSports InteractiveFootball Manager 2007datadb700, there will be a directory INC. Delete this INC folder, recreate a new game, and here come the Ballack and Kuyt.</div>

The Funniest is on PES 6. Germany's players are called 'Player 1' 'Player 2' etc

Not on my PES6 Max there are called Schwainburg etc

lol it is on the Ghetto PS2 lol.

Not to sure about Xbox though cos i never wanted any German players with Barca
