Yeah. He is an extreme conservative Christian. My dad went to OSU with him and said he was a total asshole because he was always petitioning the campus bookstore to ban controversial books.

Other funny facts:

He didn't get laid until April 20th, 2002, when he finally got married. He has stated that he entered and left the NBA a virgin because he believes in abstinence before marriage. He now runs a youth camp to promote abstinence.

He had chronic hiccups during his career in the NBA and never slept more than 2 hours a night.
