Working Out at the Gym

I've never used it, but I've heard about it. I believe its an herbal supplement. Google: Jack3d. Its a preworkout supplement that me, my brother and a couple friends swear by. Its got a lot of caffeine in it though. Drink down a scoop before you workout with water and it gives you sustained energy and stamina. Once you get in a couple week routine and start seeing results you'll become hooked. Atleast I did.

I've always approached working out like its an art project and I'm sculpting my body. As corny as that sounds. Not a better kind of high than an extreme endorphin rush. Its also fun testing your limits.

I'm going to get that.

I don't want to trouble anyone, but I was wondering if someone would be willing to type out a workout schedule with details for me. I kind of have problem's planning things, and I want to actually get serious about working out. I'm much better at doing things when I know exactly what I am going to do. It has something to do with me having an anxiety disorder. Anyways, I would really appreciate any help.

EDIT: Actually, you guys don't have to make a whole thing, but listing a few exercises go together would be a really big help.

Seasonal depression?

The sun is hardly visable for the winter months. I know people that start driving south until the hit sunlight and then just hangout. My vacations are also planned around it.

For me, Co Q10 was the kickstart I needed to get everything going. Caffiene just made me a grumpy old man. I started with two doses a day with a multi-vitamin and L-arginine. Now I scaled back to one, with increasing my protien and adding creatine and ginseng.

Drank a pre-workout booster before my workout yesterday and absolutely killed it. If not for having to bowl, I probably could have stayed for another couple of hours. Not going to repeat that so late. Had a hard time getting to sleep then woke up at 2am.

Oh, my, god. I had the most epic gym session yesterday after taking a two day break. Didn't realize I would come back to fresh.

I'm meeting some girl today for a gym session with her. Anyone have any gym-related tips when working out with someone you want to get with? I feel like I'll want to do a couple of work-outs she would have no interest in, how would I do a couple of sets without just dipping out? I feel like it's going to be mad awkward.

Pic related.

Tuck your boner into your wasitband.

I've been thinking about giving that stuff a shot. Any side bad effects? What's the best flavor?

I've been taking vitamin D for a year or so. Doesn't seem to help the seasonal depression for me.

Fish Oil. Everyone should be taking the stuff and it has Antidepressant properties. The EPA specifically. Make sure you get decent stuff though. Must have vitamin E in it.

No bad side effects. I've tried about every flavor and Grape Bubblegum is the best.

Its different than most pre-workout stuff because it doesn't have a bunch of "filler" ingredients. They kept it simple.

I think CoQ10 was for high blood pressure? So it acts as an energizer too? I was gonna buy a bottle to try out to see if it would drop my BP a little bit. I've gone from Stage 1 Hypertension to Pre-Hypertension levels just by eating right, exercising, taking vitamins, & fish oil. Maybe CoQ10 will put me at healthy levels if I take it religiously.

I would consult with your doctor, but it sounds like you are already on the correct path. It is also supposed to help with Parkinson's and a few other medical problems. Cannot vouch that it does anything for them though.

Nope, I workout in the afternoon so its not an issue.

Ever workout without it? Did you get pretty dependent on it?

I took some creatine in pill form for a while. Helped out some; nothing great though.

I workout with out it every once in awhile. As soon as I run out I give myself a 2 to 3 week break from it. It helps so it doesn't lose its potency.

All creatine does is help with water retention in your muscles, its a very overrated product. Jack3d has a good amount of creatine in it anyway.

Think I'm gonna' give it a shot. Thanks, man.

Another thing. Buy it online or at Vitamin Shoppe or Vitamin World. I rarely buy at GNC its a ripoff. You can find best deals online for sure.

Yesterday, my friend, who isn't a blazer/nba fan, put on a belt and put weight on the belt to do dips for the first time. He had 25 pounds on the belt, dangling between his legs, and when he stood up and looked at us he said "so this is what it feels like to be Greg Oden".

I proceeded to laugh my ass off.

Hey guys figured I'd sign in for the first time in a while and contribute. Started working out about a month ago regularly (5x a week), I needed a lifestyle change and what better reason then after breaking up with the girlfriend?

Anyways, started at about 179 on Oct. 13 and am now down to 167.6, as of this morning. I actually have been taking OxyElite Pro and it has definitely helped. It is a thermogenic, and I can really tell the difference in my energy levels while I work out, as well as how much I sweat.

I'm only 5'6, so my goal when I started was to get down to 165-160. I'm almost at my first goal, but I want to continue to get down and finally get rid of this stomach. :)

Currently my diet is looking like this (roughly):

Breakfast: Bagel with PB or Bowl of Cereal
Lunch: Leftover Dinner/ Something small
Dinner: Rice/Tilapia or Wheat Spaghetti/Broccoli

I'm just a college student and not a great cook, so I'm making what I have work. ;)

Do you guys have any tips on getting rid of stomach fat?
