especially given that I think the fans wanted him to call heads.

Their coin flip in 72 was pretty crappy too, iirc.
 
Refs need to be held accountable. If they get held responsible for the terrible calls they make, face supensions, fines, reprimands then maybe they will be more likely to ref better games...
 
The most frustrating call I've seen was like 2 years ago against Houston. You know how Harden
swoops his arm up and gets foul calls? Well, Lillard is pressuring him near half court, when
Harden loses the ball - it's rolling away slowly: 5 feet away, 6 feet away, 7 feet away. So,
Harden, who is now not anywhere near the ball, swoops his arm up hitting Lillard.
Lillard is called for a foul.

Freaking Harden.

The funny thing is, I was thinking of a different horrible call. That's how bad the fix was.

Whats next, for example, if you are at work and you mess up somebody’s order in the drive through and YOU get fined or suspended? Can’t run a successful business that way FAMS.

actually if you do it enough you get reprimanded and then fired
 
Was watching some of the worst calls of all time and one of Dame's made jumpers made the list.

 
All female refs sucked. The worst call in NBA History was hiring them. Clicking on the thread I knew it would be Holtkamp. She's fucking horrible and has no place reffing a kids league.

Nope, that was the second worst call, the worst was when that one team took Bowie over Jordan. Whenever 3 out of the first 5 players are hall of famers and you’re picking second and the 3rd pick is the GOAT and you go with some stiff instead of winning 6 championships that means it’s the worst call ever....or you’re cursed.

nah....we had Drexler and Bowie went on to have somewhat of a career...Oden did not.....I'm not the huge Jordan fan that most of the world is either..both bad picks but the Oden pick destroyed the team...coach fired, etc....Bowie signing didn't have quite the same impact
