And at one time they believe that their prophet was the reincarnation of God or some sh*t, I forget how it went but they still believe their prophit is like the highest form of human on Earth. They also believe that Moroni(might have been manti, or Nephi) was the first human in the New World, and that he started a great civiliziation, and all the native Americans come from that civilization, and that they themselves are decendents from that civilization. oh yeah, and in heaven all people of color become white. A lot of their beliefs are like a mix between Islam, Christianity, Judism, and Hinduism, with some other Polythesitic ideas thrown in. Basically they took parts of other religions they liked, and combined them into forming their own cult.</div>Yes, exactly. As I understand it, you populate your planet once you die or whatever. And yeah, they believe that Smith was a god and equal to Jesus (who also was a prophet as well). Basically, their term for god is flaky at best.Their former views of black people were also very questionable... I think I remember that they thought that black people were devils (and black because of the fire). They changed their views in the 1860's (WOW I WONDER WHY).

It was the 1970s when they changed their views, infact some places in Utah it's still legal to own slaves(though the 13th amendment over rules ). and no I am not Mormon, and just because I live in Salt lake City doesn't mean I am automatically mormon. Salt Lake is mostly non Mormon now, as are some other major cities in Utah like Park City, Ogden, and St George. though don't take Wikipedia's word for it, it's numbers and the numbers from the state census don't match.
