Would you do a swap?

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

I would, and then I'd trade Curry for Lillard plus Aminu, and then I'd trade Klay for McCollum and Leonard and then I'd trade Kevin Durant for Moe Harkless, Evan Turner and Pat Connaughton and then I'd trade Draymond Green for Zach Collins and Caleb Swanigan. Finally, I'd trade Zaza Pachulia for Jusuf Nurkic.

That would leave us a tidy profit of Nick Young and Omri Casspi to give us some shooters off the bench.

You can leave Leonard to them to sweeten the deals !

KAT is one of the best players in the league... he averaged 25 and 12 on great percentages with a 4.9 DBPM and a 25 per.. and 12 ws..
Nurk is a better rebounder, passer, shot blocker, gets more steals...

Don't forget Butler.
Dame & CJ are both better. Butler's defense is better but offensive talent is me valuable individually. Individual players can control and carry on offense and draw attention away from others giving them easier opportunities, while defense is much more of a team oriented aspect.

For fucks sake.

I say he's near Towns level, then a rook takes it as saying he's on Towns level, and now you're sarcastically saying he's better.

Y'all spinnin shit just like the media has been with Dame lately.

Actually I was making fun of the guy's response saying that Nurk wasn't close to Towns, not of you I agree with. woosh woosh

At the heart of this question:
1. Are the Wolves better than the Blazers right now?
2. Where do you see them in a couple of years?

Right now I think the Blazers are better. Better defined roles, more experience playing together, and frankly a culture and coaching staff that's proven a lot more. And in a league where three point shooting is becoming more important Wiggins, Towns and Butler are okayyyyy (none of them shot that much better than Mo Harkless last year), Dame and CJ have a massive edge.

I've drunk a giant gulp of Nurk and Swanigan Kool-Aid, so I'm actually more optimistic about the future as well.

Trying to look objectively, or as some of you say negatively. Going from best player vs best player, Butler and Dame basically cancel each other out. Towns and CJ are pretty close, but Towns is the better player. Then to 3rd best players and Nurk vs Wiggins. Nurk is better. Then the supporting cast of Dieng, Teague, Gibson, Crawchuck, Muhammed vs Harkless, Aminu, Turner, Vonleh, Davis or Napier. I give the edge to Minnesota.

So IMO, right now, the puppies have a better roster.

Assuming for the sake of argument that the TPups have a more talented roster overall...

The more germane questions are:

(1) how do those skills translate into the modern NBA and

(2) how do those players mesh together to form an effective team

vs. same questions for the Blazers?

Commence argument....

So based off of 1 fucking game, Nurk is better?

KAT has had a few 30/20 games.

So in your world, Layman is better than Drexler because Layman had 17 points his first game and Clyde had 2?

Man I love my team like any die hard fan but the homerism that some fans have makes you question anything they have to say

Losing Rubio will be addition by subtraction and Minny might end up will a great record and make the playoffs this year, but I can't just do a full on swap of rosters; I don't think in that way.

If you could be a Timberwolves fan for this coming season and then re-evaluate which team is your favorite next year, would you?

No because then I would have to hang out with those fuckin' Rubes instead of you assholes.
