I tried BE many years ago when I was looking for Blazer content. I always thought Golliver was reasonably decent, but what I noticed almost immediately was that the Dave guy never used ten words to try and get his point across when he could use ten thousand words. And it was way too easy (and concerning) to see that his first priority was as a pastor who liked the sound of his own voice, not as a “real” sports guy (I am not against pastors who are sports fans. I’d just prefer to be preached at in church rather than a sports column. Keep it where it belongs). And I’m not sure there is a bigger bloviator out there (next to Stephen A. Asshole) than Dave Deckard. And once Golliver split, it got even worse. And it’s like Dave’s minions are more worried about gargling Dave’s balls and jockeying for position instead of pursuing serious, in depth commentary. SC2 is schizophrenic AF but at least we’re honest about it. I hope the exodus from BE continues. Just don’t bring Dave with you……..

The irony here is that people keep refering to this guy as "woke" or "progressive" while his views on Billups are straight out of the KKK handbook.

It is absolutely true that rape victims are often failed and mistreated by the system. It is equally true that African Americans have their lives destroyed (or even taken from them) based on bogus charges. It horrifies me how many people believe you can't address the first issue without ignoring (or even embracing) the second.
