He had these blood clots before the surgery didnt he? cant really fix blood clots by sitting down in rehab

They treat blood clots with blood thinners like Heparin & Warfarin. They dissolve the clots, but you also can't do any surgery while you're taking them. I don't know how long it typically takes to get results, but would imagine it varies with the size & location of the clot.

Wow that's sad. Your feelings are more important than this guys life/career. Think the same could be said for a lot of Blazer Manic's.

I think he'll be better off if he retires too. No more disappointing people or disappointing himself. He can just relax, enjoy the money he's made, and begin his post-basketball life.

Never stops . . . now instead of having complications and a slower recovery time than expected post surgery, GO has taken it to a new level and has complication pre-surgery.

I thought he was running and biking and almost ready for light contact. Now we learn he isn't even healthy enough to have arthroscopic surgery . . . and yet I wonder in the back of my mind if he will play for the Blazer again, I need help.

my mom was on blood thinners for 3 months to get rid of the blood clots in her leg when she broke her ankle.... not saying its going to take three months but could be that long i suppose...

Oden currently does not have a timetable for return, but is not expected to see the court this season.

So it's very likely that the Blazers may never see Oden in a Blazer uniform again. I wonder if he will even play in the NBA anymore?

Well they said he is unlikely to return this season. I don't expect him to want to come back since his history here was a mess.

Funny thing is, when we drafted him, there was a small little fear in the back of everyone's minds that we could be drafting the next "Sam Bowie", but now I wish Oden could be Sam Bowie. At least Sam gave a few quality seasons.

I believe Oden, if didn't have these injury problems, would have been at least a Dwight Howard level player. Ahh the blazers.....this franchise is cursed.
