Wrestling cut from olympics

Wrestling, one of the most physical and ancient of Olympic sports, is gut in favor of golf. Fucking golf in the olympics. Golf is a game for old rich white pricks, just like George Carlin said.

But ok, I get it, there's a lot of money and advertising in golf. But why cut wrestling? What about badminton, synchronized swimmimg, trampoline gymnastics, sailing...

the committee guy is on record saying it was influenced by money and lobbying basically "its about marketing" and "it is political" horseshit

modern pentathalon is a rich person sport that literally only dozens of people a year compete in at any level, yet it stays in, because rich people like showing off their jumping horses and fencing each other, and have the means to have them drop wrestling for it to continue
