Because it hasn't worked out for us you clowns. This team didn't tank seasons to get Kane, Seabrook and Toews. They can't piss away draft picks and expect to maintain a high level of play. You have seen the effects of that this year. We are lucky that Clarke pulled picks out of his ass like Duclair, Buchnevich, Shesterkin, Kovacs, Huska, Saarela and Graves. However, you can't go and throw them away plus more picks. You'll destroy your future. This team has older players that are playing old. Not like Kane who has 84 f'n points. You keep comparing this team to Chicago. Get a clue. This team has never had a dominant scoring line. They need depth and scoring from FOUR LINES to contend. This team should be a major seller with getting back players that they can reload with going forward. Not a buyer. You stubborn mules continue to ignore the fact that the Hawks had 2 major selling, rebuilds during this run. In other words, they understood that they had to break the team down and reload. They freakin won. This organization can't grasp that along with some posters here. As I said before. My offer to Carolina would be this. Basically nothing. If you want to unload a 31 year old player who is out the door already, makes 8+ million and has 31 points, good luck.
I stick by what I've said all along. One, trade Yandle. If what moron Brooks said is true and Dallas is all over him, that is a perfect place to trade him to because Dallas has a farm that is freakin stocked. Two, cut, trade or release that useless tool Glass. Fix your coaches stupidity since he's too dumb to do it. Three, Tell Boyle to drop his NTC or he'll be in the minors the rest of the year. Then either send him to the minors or find a team who will give you a 3rd or 4th for him. Clarke has done wonders with those picks. Stick with McIlrath the rest of the season. Bring up Skjei for the rest of the season for Yandle. Four, I would see what team that won't make the playoffs might trade for Nash and move him now. Montreal very well might be a team that would have interest in him. They can't score in the regular season. I think if you eat one more year of Markov, get back Eller in the deal and a 2016 and 2017 second, it's a win. Eller could be used on a third line. He also would make the 4th line light years better and instantly give you a line that can score once in a while. Let Markov spell Skjei, McDonagh and Staal this season and next. Then he's off the books after next year. You have to eat one year of Markov to make the money work. However, I would take the 2 second round picks and Eller for Nash. Now in a perfect world, Montreal dumps Markov, you take back Eller and 2 second's for Nash and make a run at Stamkos next year.
